I think we are in the same situation. I filed in California but then I moved to the midwest. I received my 18 months extension letter in my new address and I had "fingerprint review completed" as of march 15 and I received a letter saying they would reuse my biometrics. Now I am worried they will schedule a bio appt and I will miss it. I'm currently traveling and I redirected my mail, so I might receive any letter with some weeks of delay. I have informed delivery with USPS, and I didn't see anything from USCIS though. I am wondering if I will have to do the Biometrics again...

Did you call them? what did they say?

Pretty much everyone that got a “waiver” for biometrics is getting an appointment anyway. I’d be ready to show up.

Hi everyone!

I filled the i-751 in Oct 2018, got the fingerprints done last week (07/03) but I still see no updates on the site. Is anybody on the same situation?

This entire process takes so long and I'm always afraid I did something wrong with the paperwork.

Thank you so much and good luck to all!

Hi,

I checked both and they say the same thing (Fingerprint fee was received). That last update is from Oct 25, 2018. :(

I hope it updates soon.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

When I am about to call them, I got my bio letter last Saturday and it was mail to my new address.

I checked my mail box and as happened to @lucky91 and @p-ana anticipated, I also received a biometrics appointment letter. I guess the letter I received back in March saying they would reuse my biometrics was just a joke . Why they even do that? So frustrating!

Now I will follow the example of @cynpen and try a walk in at an Application Support Center out of state. I need to figure out when the office is open and make sure I go there before the scheduled time, which is on July 16.

Hi everyone, I have just received my biometric letter today scheduled for the end of the month. I am planning to fly out of the country on Monday for a few weeks. Has anyone done early walk-in for the biometric? Is there any issues with it? I'm planning to go there on Monday since my flight is late afternoon.

HI Valor,

I did an early walk in and a few other people as well. Nobody had issues, as far as I am concerned. Best time to go is after 2 PM, ideally before they close. If you read the last pages you will see people describing their experience. Good luck! :)

Thank you for your quick reply cynpen! I guess I was just a bit nervous since I just found out my biometric letter arrived and I will be flying out next Monday. But I'm so glad to hear that the early walk in is not an issue for you guys.
