I do not agree with you, I'm probably the only Belgian over here (January filler) so am I going to get approve first or after everybody because i'm the only one from my country ? The country criteria doesn't make any sense. Philippines is one of the country where the most K1 fillers are coming from. So it is logical we feel like they get approved more, they are more from there applying ... I'm not judging, I understand it must be frustrating and therefore you are trying to make sense out of this but the reality is that we don't know how they work :(

I'd say that the most probable explanation is that some workers are working faster than others...

The only thing we have power on is our positivism. It might be because I'm naive but I'm sending you all my courage and I'm hoping yours will be here asap same for @brandonflude1 and the rest of us !

I wish you a wonderful day from My side of the world

Marie

Check as many K1 timelines for philipines here on VJ as you can. Count the days from NOA1 to NOA2. Compare to other countries.  You will be surprised. Then on FB groups.  There is definitely a trend. But heres to hoping  we are treated fairly and get approved soon.

I am also on a FB group specifically for the Philippines and someone from August 15 just got approved a couple weeks ago.  I'm Sept and still waiting.  There have been a few Nov people here  (non Philippines) who got approved recently in <115 days.  I agree the variability in the process is ridiculous but I don't think country is the main issue.

Exactly. Its not by country but there are more philipine applicants. Every month will have people left behind...it just happens sometimes 😟

Not trying to sound bitter but this whole talk about first come first serve for K1 petitions at USCIS, how its gets boxed then serviced based on date is pure rubbish! Today a petitioner from the Phillipines in a FB group announced she received ber NOA2 on 3/21. Her NOA1 was Dec 6th!!! Yes Im happy for them but its NOT about date. Its about the country and I refuse to believe otherwise. So frustrating!! 😡

Well yeah when I was waiting for my approval, trust me people from NOV and some filers dates are way after me was getting their approvals, and I feel you it is sooo frustrating! I also understand every case is differnt, butThe thing is no one knows how they process cases, 😕 🙃Wish you all the best, hope you get yours soon 🙂

Still nothing on our end. The background check thing is quite funny to me, I have had several checks due to my job that have all been passed. Obviously that probably doesn’t make a difference, but I wish it would speed me up lol!

It's coming... Don't lose hope. You gotta find something to think about, to keep you up. I know it's hard, awfuly hard, but you know why you're going thru this. Soon all of this will be over, just keep your head up. Fingers crossed for your NOA2!

Called USCIS, she would not forward me to Tier 2 so I’m hesitant to follow her information. I’m also a bit of a baby about being rude to people so I didn’t want to push the issue haha!

When we called last week tier2 told us our case is being processed and when my fiance asked is the background check done, she told him it's a continuous process... But everything they say should be taken with a grain of salt, couple of Nov fillers have been told their case wasn't opened yet and they got NOA2 in mail days later.
