Mine wasn’t written in English but it’s in Spanish the official lenguage where my wife will be having the interview so that means she doesn’t need an English translation ,so that’s why I didn’t submit a translation to NVC and they accepted ..!!

on ceac website there is still option to upload addition civil documents

if I upload now will it mess up the system or its ok to add original marriage certificate which is in Nepali language the official language of Nepal. or its not necessary now because I have already send that to USCIS when I filled I130

thanks

Maybe you can pdf both into 1 file and upload? That way they have the original and also the translated one.

ok but I have already submitted everything yesterday. can I delete that and re submit both in one PDF file now.

will that work?

I believe you can add the second document as an additional document.

Hi! Finally moved to this thread!

After a long wait, we received our case number just yesterday. We paid all the fees today, however, I noticed there wasn’t an option to do choice of agent form? When I clicked on “choice of agent” on the website, it only directs me to the same page where I could pay fees and submit documents. Is this normal? We have a lawyer, is that why we don’t get the “choice of agent” form?

I see. Thank you for the confirmation! This forum has been much more useful than attorneys, sadly.

Just uploaded IV and AOS package. Hopefully everything is the way NVC likes it and we hear back soon.

What experiences did you guys make with how long it takes for them to review your files?

I just got a notification from CEAC That they updated our case and when I walked in there was a message asking for a missing document which is the Proof of citizenship of my joint sponsor. However I uploaded his passport exactly where it asked for that so I don’t understand why they’re asking for it again.

I don't think I did as a petitioner either because I already proved my US Citizenship status when I file the I-130 to sponsor my husband.

The passport I was uploading was for our joint sponsor. I had to prove the joint sponsor was a US Citizen or LPR.
