MIL is back tomorrow, that's been the quickest week in history 😭

We have managed to not be home every time she's called though 😂😂

Thank you, I hope that is what it is and not something else. He felt pretty confident it was it. But we never know until the tests are done. 

Well it's not the hurting part that bugs me it's the breaking of the skin. I won't be able to not look I have to give them to myself.

I thought about it but she's arriving at the airport I work at, my luck says I'd get to work Thursday to find her in the break room 😂😂

Well, La Colombiana is now a US citizen. Her oath ceremony was here in Santa Fe yesterday morning. I almost got in a fight with a guy, which rarely happens. I'm just not a guy that gets into those situations very often. My mother in law and I sat down at a half occupied table for guests of those being naturalized. After we sat down the only other person at the table started saving the remaining seats at the table for her entire Mexican American family. At that point I went to get coffee for me and her. After LC found her seat among those to be naturalized she found me in line waiting for coffee and told me her mother was told to sit at another table. I was pissed. I confronted the woman at the original table and she feigned ignorance when I asked her why the MIL was told to move from "their" table. Immediately, some older guy comes around the table and gets right into my face saying I am not allowed to talk to his sister in such a manner. As I turned toward him he stepped even closer to me. I told him his table owed an apology to the MIL. He just stood barking in my face saying I was wrong and that he was going to get security. He also had the gall to ask why I was in his face. I really thought about punching him but instead I went and found security myself. I didn't expect security to do anything, and of course they didn't, but I wanted them to be aware of the thugs near our new table in case anything else happened.

 

Other than that, the ceremony was predictably boring. Glad to be done with this whole visa journey.

Himself dearly loves to freak people out. Particularly Hospital people.  That poor ultrasound lady didn't know what to think. She left the room, got another tech. They both left the room and got the Doc.  Great concern. He actually hasn't got a carotid or jugular on the left, and although he always tells them that, they do not believe it. His internal carotid on the 'bad' side is 70% blocked. They are shocked to find the other side is completely blocked. Another OMG moment in the books. All they need to do is actually look at the record, it's all there.

He has a monitor for 'non-cardiac' reasons to wear for seven days. I'd like to be a fly on the wall when they check that record.
