That investigation has the potential for more scandal than anything the FBI can find out about Kavenaugh. 

If the FBI is going to investigate Kavanaugh (for the 100th time) they should also investigate Ford and the statements she made in her testimony and if they find evidence anything she said was false she should be charged with perjury.

Of course the Dems and their TDS afflicted supporters are now saying a week of investigation by the FBI is not long enough.  I even saw a story where Comey is saying the FBI should not be tied to a deadline (does he think the FBI should be doing a criminal investigation into a state issue?).  As usual, Mr. McCarthy has it right, and I think Senator Graham voiced it well, there is only one reason for the Dems actions, delay, delay, delay.

"Investigated"?  What could an investigation uncover that's more than he said, she said?  It'll always come back to that.  But people always tend to err on the side of caution and believe the accusers all things being equal.  He's probably going to lose this appointment.  And if nothing happened (which i'm not entirely convinced wasn't made up to sabotage the appointment until after November), he's going to get screwed anyway.  Even without a shred of evidence, he's already convicted in the court of public opinion.

There is a big difference here though.  SCOTUS justices do not practice in the public eye, so I think he could be just fine if confirmed.

Of course they will. Delaying until the mid terms is the only goal. Helen Keller could see that . My dear god, if this guy is so squeaky clean all they got on him is he may have partied a little too hard his freshman year or some girl said he may have felt her up when they were both kids. How much of a boy scout must he be. I never met anyone that clean.
