Welp, I finally got my NOA. I'll try to update this list! I'll check back in a few months to see how bios are going since I'm at the CA center so not expecting a fast response

Got my NOA last week. Sent my package to the new address posted in the USCIS website. It was then forwarded to the California Service Center.

Hello guys! So I’m traveling to Pakistan next month InshaAllah. And my relative told me not to cuz it’s really strict these days and it’s totally up to the officer’s discretion if he wants to let me re-enter US or not. The have revised their rules in September 2018. 

I have an expired green card.  I have my extension letter since I’ve applied for I751 removal of conditions, but I’m wondering if I should get info pass stamp if it’s gonna help. I’m planning to cancel cuz what if they don’t let me enter the US through Qatar airport 😕 Please help.

Extension letter with the expired card is essentially the same thing as the I-551 stamp, don't waste your time. 

 

Nobody can guarantee your reentry because you aren't a US citizen, but as long as you have the proper documents you shouldn't have much to fear.

What they are saying is that a stamp does not hold greater value than the extension letter + gc = they have equal weight.

 

If you're worried about not being let back into the US, then you should be EQUALLY worried with the stamp as well.

I'm off for a surprise trip to the UK on Thursday (thanks work) and will be returning to the US the day after my green card expires. That should make some British Airways employee confused but I'm not worried.

 

So, so glad my NOA1 showed up when it did! Down side, my Global Entry won't work on return. Boo!

RoC Journey
09-04-2018 - I-751 packet sent to CSC
10-22-2018 - NOA1 date
10-31-2018 - Received NOA1 letter, LPR status extended to May 2020

07-09-2019 - Received biometrics appointment letter

07-10-2019 - Case updated again as 'Fingerprint Review Was Completed'

11-07-2019 - Case transferred to 'local' office in Lee's Summit, MO

03-05-2020 - notified that I-751 is now at the San Jose field office

10-23-2020 - attended combo I-751/N-400 interview - N-400 recommended for approval!

Also, VJ timelines do not support the realities of I-751 processing times in California. 😂

10-31-2018 - Received NOA1 letter, LPR status extended to May 2020

07-09-2019 - Received biometrics appointment letter

07-10-2019 - Case updated again as 'Fingerprint Review Was Completed'

11-07-2019 - Case transferred to 'local' office in Lee's Summit, MO

03-05-2020 - notified that I-751 is now at the San Jose field office

10-23-2020 - attended combo I-751/N-400 interview - N-400 recommended for approval!

06-15-2021 - I-751 is approved! :)

So, so glad my NOA1 showed up when it did! Down side, my Global Entry won't work on return. Boo!

Hello, 

You can use the GE lane, the Kiosk won't work and will gave you and X but you only need to take the receipt and make the normal GE lane. They will send you to another Global entry lane with an officer with computer and they will take your fingerprints and etc as normal.

Anybody gt ther Biometrics letter yet? 

 

I would need to apply for a visa and would need to submit my passport for that.. Any idea how much time we get after receiving the letter and the biometric appointment?
