Did anybody use a cover letter to send their info to NVC electronically? I was reading on Wikipedia that a cover letter should be use! But this could be old info, because it also gives info on mailing the forms for IV and AOS. Everything electronic so I’m not sure what to do. Please see images below.

A cover letter is not required.  Some people used to recommend them if you were mailing in the documents, but if you are uploading documents via CEAC there is no need for a cover letter as all documents are uploaded digitally and are connected to your file.  If you write one and upload it with all of your other documents, they would probably not even read it.  We just got approved at NVC and did not upload a cover letter as it is not necessary.  Focus on scanning and uploading the required documents correctly, as people often have to re-submit documents and this delays approval for many weeks.

YAY CASE COMPLETE!!!! My NVC process has taken a bit longer for no apparent reasons, they received my case on 1/22/19. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to notify you of an interview date? (Not how long for actual interview) Just wondering if we'll find out soon the date or it could be a week before the interview...

Congratulations!!!! :)

Don't believe so, you just need to change your address officially. Be sure to call USCIS and follow prompt.

The stress of waiting is really getting to me.

The Nebraska service center keeps pushing back NOA2 dates.  I really hope soon to have an answer.  I have been working in Afghanistan (American Contractor) for 13years and married to my wife for 7years,  My time off from work is spent going to our home in Thailand which if all added up from the time we have been married is just over a year of time spent together.  We are all set up and ready to move back the US and just waiting for the process to complete so we can finally be together forever.  She has 2 kids that will be going with us.  So if I get stuck in RFE, she will not understand and will just accept that it will take longer, but I will be very disappointed that I will have to stay longer in our current situation.  I have been working here to long and really need to leave.  Hopefully soon we will know.

NOA1 Date July10 2018

My husband made the NVC payments on May 1st , they say the $ 325 payment is not reflected on the page, but in ours it is reflected in process and they already took the money from my husband account on May 2.
I called again on May 9 and they told me that they were going to pass the case to a supervisor. So today I decided to call with my husband to see what they had done and they told me to make another complaint and in 6 weeks they would answer me. Does this have happened to someone hare?

There is someone over at the NVC Filers - May 2019 Forum that is experiencing a similar situation with the payments. I think he might have paid on the same date as you. His username I believe is The Rock II.  I believe has called NVC numerous times and they have been no help as per his comments on that forum. Best of luck to you both!

Did you send any original hard copy e.g. Spouse birth cert and marriage cert via mail or you sent everything via online upload?

It depends on your embassy/consulate, but most are now all digital at NVC stage, uploading everything via the CEAC website.  You will find out what method you are to use when you get your NVC case number with instructions.  Some embassies/consulates require everything via email, some hard copies, but most are digital upload via CEAC.  You will know soon!  You could also go to your country forum and see if anyone has posted what they did at NVC.  Good luck.
