Approved!!! Yayyyy.. its been such a long journey!!! My husband said it was plenty of people that was denied today. We are thanking God that we were approved, and my husband also stated they didnt ask to see any documents but they did ask where we met, how long we been married, how many times I visited, what's my husband occupation and my birthday that's it..good luck stay prayerful because it's tough! I hope my husband gets here in time before that new law passes for Nigerians on the 22.

Yay!! Congratulations! I think people need to remember that there are so many Visa types being interviewed the same day. So alot of denials isnt always spousal visas. Tourist buisness and student visas are there too which occupies more than half of those interviewed. This is wonderful news! Our interview is on the 10th!

Will you update us when you recieve the visa what the issue date on the visa is? Supposedly the issue date on the Visa is what is important to exclude you from the ban. If the issue date is before the 22nd then you guys will be fine to travel ect!

Yes, he probably wasn't thinking about that! I think he was so caught up into thinking he was going to be denied after hearing everyone's else denial response, and I most definitely will keep you posted best of luck to you both...

They deny so many tourists and students visas, it's rare to deny a spousal visa.. Congratulations on your approval. So happy for you

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
