K1 visa.. fiancee in malaysia but born in phils

My gf is in malaysia as visitor she been staying there for 4 years already.. she only has visitor visa in malaysia .. i am planning to get her  as fiancee, we already met.. does she has to go home to philippines? Or she can stay there while i process her papers in US? byw, they have US EMBASSY AND PHILIPPINE EMBASSY in malaysia.

Normally, the applicant would interview in the country where they legally reside.....does she have a work permit there?

Generally one must be a legal resident to interview in the country for an immigrant visa. She will likely need to interview at USEM instead of in Malaysia.

She can check with the embassy in Malaysia to confirm, but most likely she will need to return to a country where she can have legal residence to process the visa there.

She will most likely HAVE to interview in the Philippines....a 4 year visitor visa?  wow.

And i forgot to mention she has a recruiter or a person that process her visitor visa in malaysia and currently she dont have her passport the recruiter has it to get stamped for an extension visitor visa, also the reeason she cant go home coz she is waiting on her passport/visa

Just curious...have you actually met?  Have you seen her passport?

Yes i met her .. i went there last week for 2 weeks and ive seen her passport in picture and last time she got it back becuase it got expired ao she has to renew it in philippine embassy

Then she has to give it back to her recruiter.. i am so confused.. what to do.. ive known her 16 years and i just want to make this right

I would check with the embassy. I was told the same thing,  but found numerous old topics about the embassy in Spain not caring. I called the embassy and they also told me that they didn't care and that she could interview at any location around the world regardless of status. That may just be the policy in the embassy in Spain, but I called twice at 2 different times before submitting my package and both said the same thing.
