And I notice that you have not created a timeline either.  So when the next person comes along and has the same issue and looks to this post they will not see the outcome of your case.  You see how frustrating it is when you are concerned about an issue and you find someone in a similar situation and you click on their timeline to see the outcome and nothing is there.  Please create a timeline and keep it updated

Do you have an IMMIGRATION lawyer, though? Or only one for criminal? Criminal lawyers are woefully unaware of the immigration consequences of criminal convictions and may advise you to plead guilty/no contest when fighting the charge might be a better option.

You need 5 years of good moral character. If I was an IO, I'd definitely deny N-400 for a shoplifting that happened less than 5 years from the filing date. It's a CIMT.

@EM_Vandaveer Yes I have both immigration and criminal lawyers and they both discussed together and they decided that petty disorderly conduct will not hurt my immigration process. 

I will file for citizenship and see if I get it that’s good if not I will try in 3 years not 5 because I am married to US citizen.

It won't work. You do not qualify. Regardless of married to USC or not, you need 5 years of good moral character at the time of filing N-400. You'll just waste your money.

@EM_Vandaveer If you are filing based on marriage to a US citizen you need just 3 years of good moral character not 5.

Conduct prior to the five-year period may also impact whether the applicant meets the requirement.
