Alhamdulillah! My husband case status changed to issued!!! Alhamdulillah 🙏 It was such a long wait but i’m glad that it’s over now Alhamdulillah. My husband was asked for joint sponsor at interview. We submitted his documents the same day and 3 weeks later they asked us to submit i864A. We submitted those in January and after that there was no progress in the case. After waiting a while I contacted my senator in April. They replied with “documents received pending for review”, later in May status changed to Admin Processing. The second set of documents were reviewed after almost 5 months! In June I received an email to submit updated medical. After 16 days his visa issued! Alhamdulillah!

I believe my senator really helped our case. It was only when they inquired that the embassy worked on my case. A huge shout out to my senator!

She needs for face to face time with her husband.  Meeting only twice (in 1 year) and an arranged marriage is weak evidence. Have you researched other items that can be included in a petition for proof of a bona fide marriage?
