Hello everyone.. I went through my k1 visa interview yesterday in Mumbai consulate.. He asked me inappropriate questions from me.. He asked me about my wedding cards, hall receipts, lists of guests etc ,that I hadnt at that time to show him..  I answered him when I got the visa, I will book my ticket as soon as possible, once I reached there we will get the earliest date ND will get married..  Already my fiance has found some halls for our wedding ceremony.. But he wasn't satisfied from my answer..  He handed over 221 g refusal letter.. It shows that they want us to show more proofs to show our relationship is genuine...

Please help to what's the meaning of this letter...  I'm so worried...

I had everything to show them,  phone call records,  text,  chats,  pictures of our trip..  Plane tickets,  gifts receipts that we sent to each other...  But they didn't ask me anything.  Even I told him I have all these I can show u right now.  But he said just submit all these in our drop off location... We are together from last 11 months.. Coz this is arranged....

Back again.

My guess is that the totality of your relationship concerned them, is this an arranged marriage?

And you have spent 11 months together?

Arranged marriages are a bit tricky. If he didn't look at your documents, the initial documents you supported were already weak. As it is an arranged marriage, it seems more of a transaction and more of a risk that you're using it to immigrate.

How many time have you met? How much in-person time? USCIS doesn't value gifts to each other and will scrutinize it more.

They also move cases around to even out workload.

Unfortunately, you're between reapply or marry and do a spousal visa. During the meantime you need to get more evidence that it's genuine. Travel together, visits, family events, long trips, social media, friends meeting, social media posts - basically any and everything you can do. Given your rejection, you must have applied a month or two after you started your relationship?

We applied after our engagement ceremony after one month of our relationship

Best bet would be to get married and file CR1.
