After entering USA , throu CR1 visa , I still have not received green card after 30 days of POE , and nor are there any status updates on  the same  on USCIS case status online . Should I be worried ? . Also I changed my address talking with cbp officer at the airport while POE . Does that affect  my gc status ? .

Nb :Poe was at  chicago : O'Hare

it takes time. in normal processing time, i got mine in 45 days.

With current backlog .. i would hold my horses till 60 business day from date of arrival

Okay thank you . What was your POE . I AM worried as there is no status update too .it shows " immigrant visa fee received" since day spouse paid fees . No changes since then.

jfk

if you paid fee then you will get your GC.. and once your passport is stamped at POE it's a valid GC for a year

hold your horses for 60 - 70 days before you go gung-ho . Just relax ease and understand america.

Changing your address won't affect your GC status....but it may affect getting your card delivered in the mail if it's not the proper address they have on file.

Did you also file an AR-11 form online to update USCIS about your new address where they can mail the card to?

Hi ,

My extended family still lives at the old address so I will know if I receive the card over there .

No I did not . Jus amended with the cbp officer . Is it necessary to file ? What is that for ?

Great variation in GC being produced and mailed.. can be 3 weeks.... can be 6 months. The elis site states allow 120 days My husbands took 4 weeks and  mine took 6 months and 3 weeks

Omg 6 months is a lot !!
