Yes every single day. ......I'm hopeful by this week we'll get the number....today marked 10 business days since we got notified of the approval and  from what I've seen and with a lot of luck NVC receive's the case in 10 bs days .

Okay. I'm 6 days behind you and at this point I'm just coasting to be honest, lol. I don't think I'll start calling until the prescribed 14 days after NOA2. Keep us updated on your timeline please!

You can call anytime you want......doesn't have to be after 14 days

Mine is more than 10 days... I haven't called again since they last made me got into panic mode

I called the NVC for the 2nd time today, it arrived there on the 14th. And is now being processed electronically, and it’s in their system. Still saying 8 weeks for a case number but it’s just spiel. The 1st lady I talked to was incredibly rude, but today I talked to Gus, who was so polite and helpful. He told me to continue checking my email and to check the NVC often. (He also said 8 weeks but he has to say that) So I’m going to call back every day and hopefully get the case number soon!

I just got my NOA2 yesterday. What can I check in the meantime to see if it arrives at the NVC office, or do I just start calling 2 weeks after the NOA2 to get status updates?

That they never heard of my type of approval letter (I read it aloud to them) But my folks in here reassured me that i should wait another week because it is actually a common type of letter. So I will call next week.

Hey guys, i really appreciate your help with answering a few questions for the ds160 

 

1) on the page US point of contact info, it asks for relationship to you and in the given choices there is no choice for fiance but rather "US petitioner" and "other"

I wouls select US petitioner????? 

 

2)Question in family: Do you have any immediate relatives in the USA, not including. 

I answered yes to that since i am his fiance..i know this is stupid to ask but i don't want to make a mistake lol 

 

3)Has anyone ever filed for an immigration petition on your behalf.... 

 So i am a little confused, because i filed a petition for him for fiance visa last year but we were denied..and then refiled. Do i answer yes or no?? 

 

4)Have you made specific travel plans to the USA? 

How did most of you answer this? I said yes, and wrote an estimated date of arrival and port of entry.

We were denied because our lawyer didn't advice us propwely about requirements.i hadnt seen him in within 2 years. Tried to get a waiver based on cultural restrcitions but of course it didnt work. I did see him right after filing and had told the laywer but like i said didn't advice us well.
