Must admit I found it fascinating and not sure why it has been buried.

It is fascinating since it delves into this culture of notoriety that seems to be pervasive in our world today.  Many people want their fame and get really upset when they perceive they are not getting it.

Not news when a radical leftist goes off the deep end?

You mean another disgruntle employee who decided to cause workplace violence.. welcome to the big 3.. my mom's former coworker(salary) is dead from a gun wound by a disgruntled UAW  member at the Toledo Jeep plant. Someone was stabbed in the neck at another GM facility a year and half ago..

And my current facility has had multiple bomb threats within the last year.

Michigan is an open carry state( might be open concealed too).. there's no such thing as a pure anti-gun activist here.

It's boring mainly because you are just trying to push illogical agenda down a liberal's throat.

But if you insist on continuing to push your bias agenda, we can talk about how most hate crimes and acts of terrorism come from white nationalists/supremacists ... Who are indeed right wing.

Taking a partisan stance on everything is ridiculous.

She does come across as shall we  say  slightly entitled, and well her posting were decidedly weird.

Looks like she was living with her Grandmother and in fairly comfortable circumstances but has never worked?

Definitely.  Understanding processing times for N400 vary widely by Office, after 13 months in the ROC quagmire, Katya filed her N400 in mid January and her interview is next week.  ROC is still pending.

...and then will come the studying for the test. I reckon he'll be okay at it, as he's got his book-nerd wife to help him get through it. I don't know how long B'more takes for N400... hope it's not long.

That's what I keep telling my wife to do as well but she is kind of hesitant right now to do it. We have the 10 year GC right now so we might just do it later this year or next year. I just want to be done and over with dealing with government because it's bad enough that we have to deal with the PH govt that is pretty incompetent and loves to hassle their citizens about nothing when they are trying to get paperwork or anything done.

He had some reservations about it too when it first came up. A strong love for one's own country does that... but Brexit has made him re-evaluate his feelings. Being a dual citizen at least he could travel freely if he wants... and who would want the burden of the USCIS anyway?

I'd say she was just plain crazy, like most of them. Nazi shooters are crazy too. Scum, but crazy. Still, it is another crazy person obtaining a gun. How to stop that, eh?

Wow.  Total crickets here.  Is this because it’s a she?  Or because she didn’t use a black, scary-looking rifle?  Why is this one getting a pass, exactly?

Maybe it's because she didn't kill anybody (except herself) and only wounded three.  Pretty unspectacular.

I don't know about her specifically, but there definitely are professional Youtubers in the sense that their hours and their income compare to that of "real" professions.  I'd say that qualifies as work.

The test is real easy.  He can be studying now online, all 100 questions are there.  There are also audio questions, so he can listen and study while doing other things.  Heck, you’ll probably be able ot ace the test by the time he goes!  I got tired of hearing my wife study.  But when she interviewed, she got all 6 questions right, and even one of the examiners said one answer was wrong (how many members in the senate), and she tuned to him and said, “No sir, my answer is correct.  THere are xxx members in the House and xxx in the Senate.” And the witness turned to the examiner for proof, and the examiner said, “Yep, she nailed it!”

Don’t hesitate, do it!!  Mine got her USC, then turned right around and filed her RA-9225 and re-acquired her PI citizenship (have to give up PI citizenship when you get USC), as well as a new PI passport.  Now, your wife will get the new 10-year PI passport; she got hers last October, and it’s still the old 5-year one, sadly.  More money to spend...

And when she travels to the PI, there is NO NEED to show her RA-9225, though they will ask for it if they can see she is a Pinay.  Dunno why they do that, exactly, other than to allow longer than 30 day stays.  But it’s not required to show it, contrary to Pinay rumors.

I'll admit the citizenship test is a joke. When I took it I got the first six questions right with ease. To only have to get six right out of ten from a bank of hundred questions is too easy in my opinion. I think it should be a paper-pencil multiple choice test with about 40 questions.

Yeah, doesn’t fit the leftist gun control narrative, eh?  Can’t talk about the shooter without stepping on MANY politically correct toes.

Again.. I personally live in Michigan, a blue state. That is completely run by republicans(red)... A third of the population of our relatively large state lives in metro Detroit which is a blue area. Yet just about everyone owns a gun here.

Your black and white argument simply doesn't exist in the real world.

Correct.. just like there are professional video gamers who steam content.

It's apart of the new "gig" economy.

Some of our older member might not be able to relate.

I bet your husband couldn’t pass it if it was 40 questions.  Most USC probably would fail it, in fact.

I can relate to it but I just find it stupid to say the least. The only thing that my wife and I thought about doing was YouTube videos about our family like a couple other people do and get PAID for doing it.
