I'm leaning towards it since CSC approval stopped abruptly and only transfers taking place. Unfortunately, Dallas has 12 month wait period for N-400. Any idea what is with Chicago?

The same, I'm going to submit from Chicago address, my lawyer said it is 11-15 months as well.

I have seen Chicago people having joint interviews as early as 8-12 months. I will definitely file, if I get transferred.

FYI - CSC Feb filers heard back from USCIS after 9 months waiting since biometric re-used notices were received. I won't be surprise if USCIS takes another 8-9 months from now on.

I really hope not. We did our waiting of 8-9 months already!!! I am really praying the biometrics will finally get things moving now and not another months and months of waiting. Then again, at least my husband is with me this time.

Im looking at filters near my number with a June 7th NOA and there are a fair amount of people’s cases marked as change of jurisdiction.

I think they are thinning the load again.

Hi, I tried doing this for my case number but it said validation error. I wonder what that means.

Just means your case isn’t loaded into the old system, not all are. The app is more helpful if you’re interested in the numbers around yours and searching them.

So how long in total did it take you to wait? Does it less, equal or more than 18 months?

If he files in December 2017, he had been waiting 14 months as of two weeks ago when he was approved, based on his reply.

we received our biometrics letter yesterday confirming they are reusing his biometrics from before luckily (CSC, sent late may)

something interesting I noticed was that the case 1 ahead and 1 behind us (both I-751) were transferred to another office, but not our case? I was under the assumption they were grouped together. would this mean maybe our case will be transferred soon, or just luck of the draw?

April 9th filer, got mail telling biometrics will be reused. None of the websites are updated. Uscis tells validation error and dhs.uscis tells case received. I see lot of the cases are transferred, and can be seen online. For me, nothing can be seen online. WAC18178505**

Putting 2 -2 together from what @GBOS said.. I think is these cases are aligned in batches for the officers to take. So maybe one officer transferred his entire pile to some other office etc. and our officer still hasn't gotten to our files to either (1) Transfer (2) Process.  Not sure man, this is like a black box. Its frustrating. I have never got a solid answer.

@Cougarfalcon83 - It is a blackhole! Blackbox is too polite of a word.  It sucks the soul of every applicant whoever gets near it.
