I wonder how long we will have to wait post biometrics to get an update. If we had to take the bio within the first 30 days of having applied, then we would've had to wait months for an update, but since the waiting happened before the bio this time, i wonder if we still have to wait months before we hear anymore.

I'm with VSC, I had biometrics within 30 days of filling.  Still no movement.  Oh and I filed in April 2018

Biometrics were set for 3/14 but can't make it. Walked in and it was so busy the desk lady said it would be hours.

Don't have enough time to walk in again as it's 40 minutes away, so I have sent letter back requesting reschedule.

I got notification that our case was transferred to. I thought it was because my husband filed his N-400 last week but when I checked the case tracker app, it appears many many cases around our number have all been transferred since Feb 22. Our number is WAC181355XXXX. So sounds like a normal workload transfer. I didn't know Potomac was doing I-751s though and there's no time frame listed for them! :(

Another thing...our transfer only shows up on the old system which, up until now, showed no info at all. The new system shows case received on April 6 and biometrics review done June 25 but nothing on the transfer. I haven't got the letter yet.

When did you file I-751? Which center??

Im an april 4th filer too. im vermont.

Status still shows fingerprint review completed.

thanks

Same here. My tracking number starts with WAC18134. Last update I had was biometrics waiver back in May and then 18-month extension in August. Today I saw "case was transferred" in the old system. The new system still shows "case was accepted".

My number is WAC181885X. I saw a bunch of people around me got transferred yesterday to another office. I wonder  how I didnt make the cut. I am assuming my application was not in the pile for the officer transferring the cases. Maybe I will get transferred in today/tomorrow too.

@GBOS - Question for you. Do we get to the bottom of the stack when we go to a new office? or do they give any prior consideration to the fact that we have been waiting since April 2018. Or do we just get inserted as per date, and get processed when they are processing that specific date?

Also what do you think about my hypothesis above?

Looks like lots of March 2018 filers are receiving USCIS letter for change in jurisdiction, wonder if next wave after Biometrics for April 2018 filers is change in jurisdiction. 😩

FYI - CSC Feb filers heard back from USCIS after 9 months waiting since biometric re-used notices were received. I won't be surprise if USCIS takes another 8-9 months from now on.

@Cougarfalcon83 - By the manual, you get inserted to the piles by your filing date.  However, it is important to note that Texas and Nebraska have not been processing I-751 at all at the time we filed our cases.  This means that anything that gets transferred to either of those places were automatically in chronological order.  Nebraska received a chunk of October and November 2017 filers from CSC and they are still working on them.  So your files would go after those people, which again is in chronological order.

The better chance for you is I heard (rumors) that it is easier to hire adjudicators in NSC and TSC and hence the workload are going there.  You may have someone waiting to work on your case as soon as it arrives, but a new adjudicator will take longer to do the work and work must be reviewed 100% until generally 6 months on the job.

Im looking at filters near my number with a June 7th NOA and there are a fair amount of people’s cases marked as change of jurisdiction.

I think they are thinning the load again.

@GBOS I was holding off on filing for N400 because I thought maybe the 751 will get done sooner.. Now if I do end up getting transferred, I do think filing the N400 wouldn't be such a bad idea for Chicago.

mime (WAC18138XXXXX) is transferred showed in old website in March 04, the new website still show" Case received".

Is it meaning we should waiting for even longer?

I find in CSC Feb, March 2018 file, all the approve cases are not transferred.

I'm leaning towards it since CSC approval stopped abruptly and only transfers taking place. Unfortunately, Dallas has 12 month wait period for N-400. Any idea what is with Chicago?
