So, it seems like in future it is going to be easy for I-751 filer who filed after 12/10 according to https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Laws/Memoranda/2018/2018-11-30-PM-602-0168-revised-interview-waiver-guidance-for-form-I-751.pdf

I wonder because of this memorandum our process would go any faster   :)

I applied nearly a year and half ahead of all of you. Here are some advice from someone who has been through it all very recently.

  1. Keep updating your evidence as you wait.  You will need it at one point or another. Whether it is for RFE or interview, they will want what you didn't file in those 2 year wait.
  2. Do not trust the Case tracker site or the DHS site if you use one exclusively. Sometimes one gets updated but not the other. Keep an eye on both.
  3. Get email and text updates. It helps. ALOT!
  4. Check your case in the middle and the beginning of the month. Make sure to log in at least once every 2 weeks.
  5. If you move, submit an online AR-11 asap.
  6. Try not to change things a lot and minimize travel while your case is pending.
  7. Call the USCIS phone once a month and see if they have more updates. They will probably be wrong though or just the same as the website.
  8. DO NOT FREAK OUT. No matter what happens. If nothing happened, then you are still in the pipeline.  If something happens, then you are at least moving.
  9. if you are considering applying for naturalization, apply for N-400 online as soon as you are eligible. Don't wait. It helps when both are lumped together.
  10. Finally, relax. You are still in status and they will not do anything unless you did something utterly stupid!

Good luck to everyone.

Thank you for the advice @MHZ and congratulations on becoming a USC!

Its been a few months since we all filed and we are still have a few more months to come. Has anyone received any notifications? RFE, Case Transferred, Biometrics, etc? I have 12 & 18 Ext Letters but never received the bio metrics, just making sure everyone is on the same boat and I am not missing anything. Do you guys have a guess on when were they will look at our files? I see that they are working on October 2017 so my guess is September 2019.

Hello! Were you able to travel to the Philippine Islands? How was their immigration w the extension letter? Any update will be much appreciated. Thanks

Sorry for the late reply...She did not have any issues showing her expired green card and extension letter.  So it's safe to travel with an expired green card, just as long as you have your extension letter.

Agree'd.

People in 2017 are just finding out their cases statuses.

I'm thinking at least a year until anyone else from our time hears anything. They are most likely just going to use previous bio metrics.

Wait times of EVERYTHING has been extended, so it's not just ROC or that our cases are sitting around. EVERYONE's cases are just sitting around.

Ok group, so I spoke with Emma from USCIS website. I did not know that a real representative would type and talk to you. If you type live representative than you should be able to chat with real Emma. I asked her about not being able to check status through uscis website, though dhs works, she said will have to keep calling her to get updated. About finger print, I told her I have not received a waiver mail neither I received any biometrics appointment yet. She goes this type of case has to be fingerprinted and she gave me a confirmation number and told that I should hear something from uscis regarding my fingerprints. Any ways, if you all think fingerprint might move a case a little bit faster, thats what i thought, 🙄 than you might want to talk to Emma. 🤣

I have seen some of the Oct and Nov 2017 filers - have started to get their 10 year GC(s). Spotty at best - maybe things are speeding up?
