I called last week to expedite but the tier 1 officer made a mistake. Instead of filing Expedite processing, she only did an inquiry on how to expedite so i spoke with the Tier 2 officer and she created the expedite request for me on Monday.

 

Now I don’t have a job offer to support my expedite processing that’s completed today - and I didn’t get an email from them either.

 

This waiting for EAD thing is insane and causing me so much stress. I hope they work on EAD faster because of the repercussions. Imagine being unemployed for 5 months... 😔

Did you tell your company that if they give you the offer you can get the EAD soon? 

I think April is very soon now to get EAD. Maybe try to get other job offers and expedite it. Call your Congress man to expedite it

I filed on April 17, Biometrics May 15, RFE August, then sent in docs Sept now I hear card is being made and mailed.

Yes I told them I got job offer to support my request for expedite but still no update since I requested

Did they ask you to fax them the evidence? Usually they are slow. Next time ask your Congress man to do it.

No, I haven't heard anything from USCIS after the request. Right now I am searching for info on how to take that path.

It is all about luck. Ask your Congressman to do it, can make it quicker.

Just got a notification that new card is being produced, but only on my I-765.

No updates for my I-131... Is this normal?

Yes, it is normal. Only one of them updates, not the other.

Sigh !!!! Just looked online and saw request for initial evidence was mailed.. for adjustment of status.
