I think positively too, it's how I made it this far. I really miss my home and everything back there but I made a commitment too and I can't bail on it. I moved from Romania to Washington.

Hey I live in Washington state too! All we can do is just hang in there. I don’t expect to get the AOS interview until next year to be honest cause the Seattle office seems so backlogged. But I really really hope the EAD/AP will come through soon.

How do you like Renton? I'm in Puyallup, an area with just the road and shops on its sides, not much around, also shady people that ask for crack as they walk by. When we went to Tukwila for the biometrics we passed by more nicer places. It seems anywhere outside the vecinity the area I'm in, it looks cleaner and nicer.

Just find it weird how it's all so spread out, mostly 1 level buildings around here, mobile homes. Even the structure of the houses, they're made out of wood, seems so off place to me.

Is there an analysis of how many AOS applications were submitted each month? It would give us a better idea of how long it would take our EAD/AP to get approved, I supposed. Thanks!

EAD/AP is taking 4-6 months
That's just what is happening. You can see how long it's taking to approve things here on VJ

If you mean the actual GC, then that's office specific
See here for USCIS general reports for the past quarter: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/Reports and Studies/Immigration Forms Data/Employment-based/I485_performancedata_fy2018_qtr2.pdf

Oh yeah I drove past Puyallup before. Renton is pretty nice. Lots of trees. Stores like Ikea and asian market which really helps since I’m asian. Pretty close to the Southcenter mall too.The rent here ain’t cheap tho. We’re only able to afford it cause we have two roommates lol.

This morning I called USCIS as some people suggested here. I provided the case number for my i-485 inside the call menu and it said they don't have any information on that case, or something like that. I previously tried the case number for i-765 which said the same thing as the website. So anyway, I went through the process again and selected the option that I don't have the case number, talked to a real person. After telling her the number she said oh I see you had the interview. I was like, no I didn't. She said, well it says here that your interview is ready to be scheduled.

I mean aren't there tons of cases at this step, she must be new cause otherwise I'd think a lot more people call to ask about that. In any case, she asked me if I want more details about my case and I said yes, so she said she'll transfer me to someone higher. I get placed on hold and was told by the machine that I'll get a call back in approximately 203 minutes. Well I still haven't received a call so I guess I'll try again tomorrow.

No, that shouldn't affect your combo card approval.

Hi, I applied for an expedite for my AP because of an Emergency Situation; my sister has been diagnosed with breast cancer...

I faxed the support (doctors letter, proof of relationship to sister) for the expedite today . How long will it take from this point to get approved/have the card in hand?

Sorry to hear about your sister.  Ours was approved within two days of receiving the evidence, mailed two days after that, and received about four days later.  So, it was just over a week total and things seemed to move very fast after they received it.  If you experience any delays, I would urge you to contact your state representative to make an inquiry on your behalf.  Good luck!

I also read that you can go to your local office and got it right away .. Maybe you can try to contact your local office.

That's odd. I've just tried calling again just to be sure I heard the right info and they said the interview is being scheduled and I am in line. They even confirmed the date of when it changed both calls from a few days ago to today. I would ask for a date to make sure they match.
