Advice for RFE - proof of work

Hello:star:

We received a RFE asking us to submit proof of employment (for both of us) for the past 5 years. We've updated our G-325A's with our employment, but now I'm not sure if the updated forms need my fiance's signature. I was thinking about a scanned signature for him and original signatures for me (since I'm sending it back). I was also thinking of including in our cover letter that we already submitted an original G-325A with his signature, and thought a scanned signature would ok given our time constraint. Suggestions??

I thought the G-325As were no longer used.

Are they asking for proof of employment for last five years or just the record of employment with dates and names like the one in i129f?

While it seems odd they are requesting such from the beneficiary before his interview, if that's what they want I guess you should just send it.

I'd make a list of dates/employment locations for each of you and if you have retained w2s, sure send copies they are just often not requested until interview stage.

Casa is tricky enough without RFEs but I guess just send what they ask for.

Did you keep a copy of the original I-129F you filed? Looking at your timeline and when you filed and then looking at what they are asking it seems like the standard question about where both the petitioner and the beneficiary have worked in the last five years. So I think you might have left that portion off of the form? Also you still refer to the G325A which makes me think you completed and old form? It seems from the RFE that they are only looking for a record and not proof. So just go ahead and list your places of employment, with te addresses, and start and end dates.

As others have said, that information should have been filled out on the I-129F form.  It sounds like just a simple list of that information is all they are requesting at this time.  You should each sign your list, but you can submit just scanned copies at this time.

Agree

wonder why they need moroccan employment info

my husband worked while atttending college / paid by boss in cash at $90 a month / no proof of any payments as normal in Morocco

If he works he will need an affidavit from his employer with his dates of employment / they don't do W 2 or tax returns or pay stubs

and this is at 1st stage?   i did not have to submit any my income info for CR1 till NVC stage

ACCEPTED!!

What worked: a plain page of jobs, positions, and dates for each of us. I sent mine with my original signature and I sent a scanned copy of his page with his signature. I also included signed proof of class registration records for the times when I was a full-time student. And, included co-sponsor form for proof of financial support.

Thank you all for your feedback, it was so helpful!!

In this scenario, if they requested the last 5 years of employment, but you only had 1 year of of employment (and spent 4 years not working) - would you be denied?

Nobody asks for 5 years of employment. They ask for any employment one has in last 5 years which could be from 0 days to entire 5 years. So it would be denied based on the employment.
