Her name is Lizbeth Mateo. After reading some of the comments on her Facebook page, I concluded we do not have a single member of MDL or MDR on CEHST. We are all within a small neighborhood of the middle folks.

She came with her parents illegally at 14. Did she/they apply for DACA? I have a problem  that she says illegals aren’t represented well. They are illegal, they can’t vote, how can they have representation? It’s not like being illegal here is a hardship, it’s the best place to be illegal. Evidently it is  better than being legal in your own country.

Apparently she is a celebrity among illegals. Her DACA application is denied because she went back to Mexico to visit relatives and broke the continuous residence requirement. Came back thru the border, detained, and later released.

I’m going to assume that she was over 18 at the time this occurred since her name was published. Also, it was done as a protest, knowing what the consequences could be. Why am I supposed to feel that she is a victim? I feel she was a victim being brought here at 14,  but she consciously chose to rub it in our faces as an adult.

Trip was 2013, came here in ‘98 at age 14.
