I just check the processing times for VSC and last week they were on January 13 now they updated to February....??? That's what USCIS told me a month ago but I don't think that is updated, right???? If it is, how come other people from April, May, June and even July got their NOA2 already....!! It just doesn't make sense.....Right?!?!??!

Someone explained yesterday, that the USCIS updates show that the Febuary petions are the oldest cases they are working on, not the newest. So definitely their 'updates' on the processing times are not very helpful.

no wedding plans. planning on a lovely court house wedding once all of this visa nonsenses is sorted. they most likely a wedding and wedding partyt to celebrate the whole thing a few years later. i want to do it once right. it is the marriage part though that we look forward to most.

Can anyone tell me why my adjucation date keeps going up like it is i dont get it. My application was recieved on the 10th of May and the reciept date was for the 15th of may. It makes no since to me why they are putting my date at the 25th of september. Can anyone else tell me about this. Should i even pay attention to this date. Ive already seen people in may getting there NOA2 with dates close to mine.

We were thinking at first of Oct 20th for a wedding day, but as the days go by, I think that is no where possible now . Now we're hoping for Nov. 17th. We wanted to have a medium-sized wedding, so hopefully that will still happen. We've got some things picked out as far as catering and a venue, and God-willing they will be available for us. We're trying to pick out a couple choices for each type of thing and then see what's available at the time. Of course it's me picking things out and trying to either send pics or describe it to Florin! But no matter how good I am at describing things, there is no way he can help me pick out the cake . I think the saddest part is that his family can't be here. We're going to try to bring his mom over for the wedding, but seeing that your fiance tried three times and couldn't get a visa, I'm not too optimistic. I think it breaks Florin's heart a bit that his mom can't be here, but what can we do . We did have an engagement ceremony at his church this last April, so that helps. All we can do is the best we can and hope for the best. I hope you can keep your Oct 27th date! I hope and pray all of us May filers here something very, very soon.

I've also seen people who has my same date 9th of May, before the 9th and even after who got their NOA2 aswell. From what I've read here, the times on the vj website are just estimations...

Welcome, welcome pedsgirl77! Glad to have you on board.

As for the wedding, we aren't going to do anything very exciting. Likely we will be married at the courthouse as neither one of us will have family around to really celebrate the big day (his are all in Ireland, mine are in California). We may have a celebration of sorts after the marriage cerermony celebrate with loved ones at a later time.

For the now though I just want to know what is happening with my petition. no new touches this morning or e mail saying RFE or Approved. but it's early yet so I will give it some more time before I start the 'every minute checks' on the old email account. And I am not ruling out the RFE trick if I start to truly go insane with the waiting game. *sigh* Do they not have ANY idea how much emotional torture they are putting us through??

Annette, you have to be getting some news soon! You are a few weeks ahead of me so you'll have to me know how things go in Dublin. Has your fiance started gathering anything (shot records, police certs, etc.) for the interview yet?

Just called USCIS using RFE trick because I am impatient and could not wait any longer and found out we were APPROVED on May 18! I was so shocked I made her repeat it twice. She said the NOA2 was generated and should be arriving soon. I am so HAPPY! I cannot even beleive it!

My hands are shaking so much I can't type. And where the HELL is my finace?? I can't get a hold of him!

There are actually a few of us from VSC but I have no idea where everyone went.

The RFE trick with VSC didn't work for me either I have called twice and they keep telling me to call customer service and they are useless. I have no idea what they are smoking there. I have given up trying to call them. I am just going to wait until I get my notification in the mail or online.

It doesn't seem like VSC people are getting touched before getting approved though...anyone with different info?
