Just had our interview at the Chicago office and we were approved on the spot!

Congrats!! So motivating to see, as I’m not TOO far behind. Still waiting for case to become “Ready to Schedule.” Did they require the i-693 or was your DS-3025 fine??

That didn't come up for us. He mainly just asked us questions about what we had already filled in on the forms and our evidence of marriage/still togetherness.

As long as it was submitted before I wouldn't worry about it!!

Hey everyone, hope you’re doing well! Just curious for those of you who have been through the AOS process, but how long after your status was updated to “ready to schedule interview” did you get your date? Seems like most timelines are around a month five or take?

Any advice on what would be good for the interview, thanks! Appreciate it...

Our case changed to ready to be scheduled on October 10th and then again to say it had been scheduled on the 15th of October, so five days.

Finally received my letter today, my interview is scheduled for the 9th of December in Chicago!

I received my receipts of my application on the 6th of August, so it’ll be just over 4 months later, which is fantastic!

Hi Tanya

By the time you see this, I hope the interview went well and you receive an approval on the spot and if not then, shortly after!

So had our interview today in Chicago. It was extremely quick and not a lot of questions were asked. Barely had to submit any additional documents. It’s now under review, pending the last background check. The lady said that if she has time she’ll check and approve it today, but nothing yet.

So tired of waiting. @SLV123 did Mike receive his card yet?

Mike received his green card (it’s actually blue) with a “Welcome New Immigrant” guide on November 25 - so 1 week after status changed to “New Card is Being Produced” November 18 - such a subtle way to say something so important!!

First thing he did was run out and earn green dollars! And he actually has been able to line up the same kind of work in Hollywood as he did in Cape Town.

It takes so much patience but you’re just about there!

Wishing the rest of you good luck the rest of the way and Happy Holidays!

Thank you, hopefully this process will come to an end soon.
