Hi! I also need to apply for one from the UK but I'll do it in a couple of months, I definitely do not want to risk it as it is pretty expensive compared to the italian one!

My fiancé needs two as well so he is getting one next month and then one a few weeks before the interview I don’t think it’s a bad idea to get them now because you have six months and that puts you in November and you should be here by then  I know some people are nervous because of of a lot of the 2017 summer filers but summer filers seem to have a bit longer of a wait but November filers have been getting processed since the end of last month and so I feel we will be in August right on time and that October will be the month that the whole process will be done for most cases filed in February

My fiancee just got her police certificate yesterday. We went to the courthouse and got the official copies of the custody paperwork for her daughter last week while I was visiting. On her end, everything is pretty much set to go except for paperwork for her cat, but that's just for traveling and not visa purposes. :D Now we just continue waiting...

My fiance and I are still awaiting our NOA2.  We have NOA1 date of  February 5th so it has been over 3 months.  Hopefully, we can have it in July as we miss each other so much and are tired of waiting.  We haven't seen each other since November 2017.

Hey everyone!  I've been lurking for about a week.  Old site NOA1 is Feb 5.  New site is Feb 9.  We are at 100 days (old site) today.  Fingers crossed we don't get to or pass 200 days.  Won't stress things that are out of our control.  Good luck all!!!!

I have a question for those who already received a police certificate. I thought we have to bring NOA2 to get the certificate, but I guess the hardcopy of NOA1 also works? I wasn't planning to do it until July/August, but since I'm getting a day off next week I decided to give it a go.

Hey, I’m relaxed :) it takes about 2 weeks to come. However, If I have the documents I need ready when my NOA2 comes I can schedule my medical and embassy appointments without delay. I just Wondered if anyone else in the UK was doing the same yet. B

Believe the report is valid for 12 months. No harm in preparing documents now. IMHO :)

I really don't think this is accurate. Today it's showing September 2017... You'll drive yourself crazy looking at this. All you can do really at this stage is sit and wait... That's the sound advice on a number of threads. :)

My fiancee didn't need any paperwork regarding the visa process. A person should be able to get their police record from their country regardless of whether they are working towards getting a US visa or not.
