they said that it takes about 45 days. What should I do now? I don’t now my case number yet.

Suggest u wait the 45 days. I know it's close to that now. I had mine within a 2 weeks. Sorry to hear about the trouble u r having.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

If u haven't done it yet download case tracker for uscis. It very helpful and u can track what cases have been done so far. Currently they r working on October cases. Some approvals and some RFE

Good luck to all.

I'd press for more information. How did they send it? Did they get a tracking number? Even if they just went slowest rate USPS, mail normally gets delivered across the country in a week maximum, and shorter the closer to CA you are. Then figure a week for USCIS to pick up your package and get it into the system (usually just takes 1-3 business days), and then one more week for the NOA1 to get to you. 3 weeks is more than enough time to have at least seen your check clear your account.

Hi. I recently submitted my I129f form for my beneficiary. He is Colombian and they use two family names: father's last name and then mother's last name. The I129f form asks for FAMILY name and we only wrote his first last name (his father's last name) that is actually his official last name.

His passport and U.S tourist visa says SURNAME: TWO LAST NAMES  so we are worried now.

Is this issue going to be an RFE?

Has anyone else only written one last name when the person has two?

Thank you so much!

I also sent ours on February 6, delivered to the Dallas lockbox on February 9th.  No notice yet & my check has not yet cleared my bank (as of this morning).

It's good to know that we are together!

Its kinda frustrating to wait this long , but it will be worth it in the end because you will be with your partner.

Lol Idk why im, saying this , just so you know we have the same time line we receive our NOA1 on Feb 19, 2018 hehe.

Also if you go in October’s forum and go to the end you will see a lot of members of this site have gotten approvals that filed in October so if gives you a estimation it’s about 5-6 months from filing but they seem to be picking up the pace

And on the upside of that, the new system shows exactly when you can submit an inquiry into your over-due case. As of today, you can contact them and have them look into your case if it was submitted before Sept. 8. This wasn't a feature last year and we saw lots of funny business with that "Currently Processing [date]" being changed forward and backwards on multiple occasions with only congressional inquiries yielding any results as USCIS used this seemingly arbitrary date for cover to say, "You're still within the acceptable processing times" and brushing people off. This new case inquiry date seems to be following much more closely, though still a little behind what we're seeing on the site, their actual processing dates than the old system.

Some of those unapproved, if they come from this site, may be explained by users going inactive and/or not updating their timelines. With scans, there are still people getting approved without the status being updated on the website/app. The data that comes from this site, while helpful, is only a subset of the entire pool. In order for it to be the most accurate possible, people need to keep their timelines updated if they start one, but there are many who don't.
