I had a form rejected at one point because the format was wrong, I printed the form from my Swedish laptop but the printer was printing on American standard paper which isn't the same format as my laptop uses. So basically the very bottom of the form was missing, it was such  little piece missing that I didn't even notice it.

The rejection letter stated the same issue as yours, "rejected because of outdated form", but obviously I had sent the correct form, it was only the format that was messed up.

We called uscis today and asked whats the reason why they rejected our packet and they ask us whats the version of our forms  and we told him that We used the updated one, so he said they rejected our forms accidentally.. what a day.

Hi,

in their website https://www.uscis.gov/i-485 says "Last Reviewed/Updated: 01/11/2018".

image.thumb.png.4597366abc31b83af16e23608c7f00f7.png

The document you sent says "Form I-485 12/13/17 N" at the bottom of each page?

image.thumb.png.69f7274c1d880b4aa5334c125d955c08.png

If the document is the same I'd say send it again include screenshots like the ones I pasted here (but include URL and date from your PC or laptop) in the package to show them which version they uploaded last.

We sent our AOS package January 09,2018, i wonder we don't  heard anything yet until yesterday when i checked our mailbox

i got package from USCIS and they return all my package with the payment check and a rejection notice of my Forms I-485, I-765, I-131.

x The application/ petition was filed on an outdated version of this form. Please resubmit your application/petition on the current version of this form with the appropriate fees to the address listed in the bottom of this page.

x the entire application package you filled along with any fees you submitted being returned to you for the following reason(s):

The principal application could not be accepted for the reason(s) specified on the related notice of action (form i-797).

therefore the processing of all riding applications cannot continue.

I don't know what this mean, this anybody here experience like this? so its mean we need to redo it our papers please help me guys.

Do not focus on your I-485 only, take a closer look at the other forms as well...I had my package returned because I used an outdated I-130 when I applied and I also could not understand at first because I was thinking it was the I-485...I sent a completely new package and made sure that I downloaded every single form from their website again, and doing so I found a bunch of little errors that could have delayed my process...it was easier to file the second time because I had an exact copy of my original package took me one day to put it together and I reviewed it the next day to make sure everything was okay...We had no problems or delays so far...just do it as soon as you can and you'll be just fine.

Good luck!

OP this might also be possible. Printer settings in the UAE (A4 size) are different that US settings (Legal size).

This makes zero sense considering the uscis website says clearly

"12/13/17. Starting 03/06/2018, we will only accept the 12/13/17 edition. Until then, you can use the 06/26/17 edition. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the form and instructions."

meaning old forms are accepted up to and including march 5 2018..

so I don't think it's the date there must be something printed wrong or an error on their part.

Or maybe USCIS just done a misstake? I received some RFE's that didnt make sense during my K1.
