There is a right and wrong way to go about it. IMO Destroying families is the wrong way.

Not sure if you have understood what is going on, nobody is destroying families.

Sounds somewhat unlikely.

Don't these children have to be working in the US to sponsor their parents. It would kind of hard to do this if they have to leave with their parents to a country they've never been to.

It actually puts these kids(US citizens) at a socioeconomic disadvantage.

You don't want that ,do you?

Temporary Protected Status (TPS) is temporary.  There have been multiple populations of people from other countries who have been granted TPS, traveled to the U.S., and then went back home after a period of time.  That is the temporary intent of the program.

To solve this current problem, they should probably make anyone here for more than 10 years, eligible for LPR status.  Likewise, anyone here less than 10 years, would need to abide by the temporary intent of the program and return to their country of origin when their country is removed from the TPS program.  I have no idea how that would split up the Salvadoran TPS recipients.  There has to be a cutoff somewhere though and 10 years is a nice round number.

These joint accounts make things extra confusing sometimes.  I'm sure you understand how immigration generally works, but you are failing to acknowledge the specific intent and reality of the TPS program.

Your question is an emotional Appeal to Pity.

We(most of the time it's keith) would rather have policies that support our neighbor's well being.

I guess we can just agree to disagree.

Do you realise you are on a site that deals with immigration, every day there are threads about parents moving children to a country they have never been to or at best only visited.

This is getting weird.

All your posts seem to suggest otherwise.
