Hi @SHIQUILO, I wouldn't wait 2 weeks. I think the 2 weeks was recommended because of how slow everything was going but things are picking up (finally, thank God). I would wait a week and then give them a call. I chose option 1 and then 5, they asked for the beneficiary's name and DOB as well as my name.

Hi!

Thank you so much for this information, I hope I can have good luck with NVC now, because I am coming from a very long wait with USCIS.

Do they ask for any information of the NOA2 letter? Becuase we dont have it on had yet, but hopefully by next week my fiance gets it.

Nope, only your USCIS case number which I'm sure we all know by heart by now lol. And no worries, that's what we are all here for! Let me know if you have any other questions.

100% over poverty line is for I-134

125% over poverty line is for AOS I-864.

However, it's recommended that you have income 125% over the poverty line anyways.

You can search for I-864 on the uscis.gov website, and it will tell you the most recent income guidelines. I'm on mobile now, so I can't easily do it.

I got that first part. What I was not sure about is the actual figure. I mean what is considered about that 100% n 125% ... but i'm looking up now on the site suggest... I have found it last year so I wondering if it change for this year?

Thank you :)

So for 2017 the USCIS has povery level.pdf the USC needs to be making more than $20, 525 for salary... Is this correct?

aaah okay.

no, for 125% of the poverty level (for two people in the household), the USC has to make at least $20,300.

Start calling NVC after about 10 days to ask if your case has been received and if a case number has been generated.

Once you have the case number, you can track where the application is (at NVC, in transit, etc).

For instructions by the embassy in Accra, including info on medical click on Accra through the following link: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/list-of-posts.html

Thank you very much!
