Hey guys!

I checked the USCIS website this morning and it said that our 485 will be scheduled for an interview.

However... we still haven’t received our EAD! Who else has received good news about their 485 before their EAD

How soon could the interview be?

Thanks!

I think our interview was about a month from the notice. And yes we got the GC before the EAD or AP was ever even processed. It just depends on the particular offices.

Yay my background check went through now that my SSN is corrected. The company I interviewed with called me today to formally offer me a position with their company. I start 3 months of training July 30th. :) Its an inbound call centre job. My husband works there and loves it. :) I start at 15.75 per hour. :)

Thats awesome. Congrats

Another update! "On July 11, 2018, we mailed your new card for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number XXXX, to the address you gave us."

This time, I did not get a tracking #? Why is that? I had one for my EAD. I am thinking about calling them tmw to ask for one!

She must not know difference between permanent and temporary. Dont worry she was wrong.
