Ditto for us. early this morning we both received text notification and email that our case has been transferred - once again. There's movement, as we say, and we continue to wait.

Strange thing is only the old site shows any change, the new site shows nothing about the update. Maybe it was just a glitch or the case was moved from officer to officer. Officers leave all the time and their cases are reassigned.

How many of the January approvals have applied for N400? Is there any correlation between the approvals and N400 pushing the 751 through?

Luis originally wanted to wait until he got his new GC to apply for N400 but seeing as there are now January approvals and he feels like if the waits he just wasting time that could be used in the citizenship timeline.

I was in the same boat and just decided to apply for the N-400.

From what I have read, it is a mixed bag on the people getting approvals that also applied for N-400. Some did, and some didn't. No real rhyme or reason.

True. I checked the new site and no new updates, only the June 15, transfer file notice, which I believe you also received around the same date. My husband checked the check my case status which contains the Feb 5 update, along with the email regarding to appear for an upcoming appointment at the local application center for photo and fingerprints. We understood per an email that we received February of last year, that the biometrics would be waived due to the large backlog. We were under the impression that our file was with CSC all along and receiving the June 15, 2018 letter stating the file was being transferred from the Virginia office to California for processing, had us really confused. I guess, anything is possible whether its reassigned or just moved to alleviate the back-log. The common thread here is that there is no logical reason for processing petitions. Of some reassurance is that the file is getting moved and the similarity of your case with ours and all those files transfers.

That was ours but the last action date was in October of 2018 which is (I believe) they sent us the 18 month extension. Maybe them taking action on Jan 22nd is a good thing?

I hope it will be a good sign for them to look at my case and on my status nothing change since April 9 " my case transfer to my local office".

So after almost a year of the website not able to show me any status, I got a text that my card is being produced!

The case on the app and website also updated!

The only thing I'm wondering is - did anyone else get approved with no interview?
