One of our friends over in the June thread is still waiting too. And yes, that's June 2017. This process is brutal. I feel fortunate to have my approval but my heart bleeds for every one of you.

Like Greenbaum says, trust the system. It's a long and hard process but we will make it through. All of us. Just don't give up. Once you get that NOA-2 all your frustration and anxiety will go away. For about a week. Ad then you'll start worrying when and if your case will make it to NVC. :jest:

Checked the new website this morning and we've got an RFE...I know this is better than not hearing anything, but it just feels like yet another step backwards

NOA1-Dec 26

RFE-Jul 12 (not sure why the website didn't reflect this until today)

Can you call anyone to find out what the evidence is, or do you have to wait for the letter itself??

I know an RFE can seem daunting, adding more time. But its a good thing. They are working on your case! And if you can get the evidence back asap you will be approved soon.

Unfortunately you have to wait for the letter itself. But since it was sent on July 12th you'll have it pretty quick.

I hope it's something real simple like a copy of a birthcertificate or passport photo.

Ok Guys, so it's like 212 days since noa1. I've called USCIS and they were no help. This process has really just pisses me off it should take this long. It's past the point of anxiety and just plain frustration.

I understand you.. I did not see my fiance since February 2018. I am usually very active but I understood yesterday that I  want to do anything and life is like "waiting status" . I think I have dipression now..  And girls are horrible when they are like that. I stil do not understand how my partner has so much patience with me ..  Even if it has a great test for reations it really pisses off...

I know, its easier said than done, but try getting out and do the things that you love. The more you have going on in your life the faster time will go. And the more you will have to talk about to each other. It's so much more fun to tell your fiancé about all the crazy things you've been up to in stead of moping about it being day 2hunderdandumpteenth.

Getting angry solves nothing, but if you must, use that anger to fuel your resolve. Just put your shoulders down and push, as my fiancé likes to say.

We don't pity you love, we support you. We have all been in the same shoes or are still there suffering with you. It's ok to be mad, upset, frustrated. Just don't let it run your life. Acknowledge the feelings, whine about it (to us) and get on with things.

You are definitely close!

Hang in there guys, I know how you feel, we were approved at day 213 and waiting that long was really upsetting, frustrating and all but once you get the approval, it will all be gone. :) Praying for everyone's approval this week!

You will have to wait for the letter, but hopefully it is a quick fix.  It took 5 days to get my letter and I was able to return it the same day (I forgot to check a box).  They received our RFE on June 26th and we got approved July 6th.  Hang in there! Not much longer!!!!!
