Hello everyone! I’m from France, my fiance is an American. The USCIS received our case on December 7 2017, it’s been almost 7 months... It’s really frustrating.. Did anyone have good news ?

I never been more patient like that.. there is something that help me a lot is to see people waiting like me being positive thank you for that! I hope we all get approved god bless everybody!

🙏🏼😊

They are beginning to work on Dec's application. You may hear something within the next 3 weeks. After that you have about 2-4 weeks to show up at NVC and the case number to be assigned. Then 2-6 weeks till it arrives at the Embassy and if they send you the P3.

Some Dec applicants have started to see movement on their files.

Hi guys

I made this checklist for the interview while im waiting for my case number.  Is there any essential that I've missed?

Thank you all.

Great work! Unfortunately most can't help you with the checklist here as it's dependant on the embassy. Not all embassies ask the same stuff. Ask in your country specific area and you'll get a lot better answers!

@Tram Le  it is good to be so organized!   Definitely, as @Little_Vixen  states, each embassy has a slightly different take on what they require.   For example, the Embassy in Bangkok does not require a copy of the Petitioners Birth Certificate or Beneficiaries House Hold Registration Card.

The official Embassy list of documentation for Vietnam is found here:   https://vn.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/required-documents/

I quickly compared it to your check list and it seems to match and you are well prepared.   Good luck!

But I thumbs up  @Little_Vixen 's suggestion to post your list in the Vietnam subfourm to attract any "insider" and "experienced" knowledge from past petitioners and beneficiaries who have processed through Vietnam.

Great suggestion to start your own thread for processing in Vietnam if one doesn't exist. Then search out those who are processing and invite to the thread for commentary and help. I saw this being down my those processing in Haiti and they have received nothing but positive help.

Hi love.  So sweet of you to ask. Thank you.

I'm doing alright. Been very very busy lately clearing out the old house, moving to a rental, getting things arranged at work. The house closes on Monday so things will slow down a bit then. I can't wait for all this to be over. I miss my big bear.

How have you Been?

Awww! Oh wow..don't stress yourself out much. It will be over very very soon and you will be with your Love forever.😍😘😘

I'm been busy, nervous and excited at the same time. This whole process is not for the weak. Ahh! Anyways, by God's Grace, I will make it to the States by next week.

Hee vixen, just wanted to give you a heads up. Book the medical as soon as you can because in my case it took a while before i can get my exam. Apparently it takes a while to before I can get my interview, expecting a letter in the mail this week with my appointment date.

Thanks! I'm planning to book the medical and interview as soon as I can. I'll be calling nvc every day after our noa2, lol. I'm pretty sure we can book everything once we get our nvc number, right?

Yes, at the medical center they requested for the NVC case number. Good luck, hope you get your NOA2 soon.

Same deal for the United Kingdom! The NVC Case Number is the golden digits that unlocks a lot. For the United Kingdom after the medical (and after the completion of the DS-160 we have to complete the ‘Notification of Applicant Readiness' form prior to booking an interview. Both medical and embassy require full ACRO police check done. I have mine. No issues.

How exciting to be finally thinking these thoughts in words. Roll on the next 2 weeks before they start January filer. Rooting for a November POE!!! 🎉
