Does anyone know why every time I try to review my ds-160 the site times out after "seconds"? When I retrieve the ds-160, it shows me the first page, then when I click next to see the next page it time-out on me. I can never get past the first page. In the instructions it states that if idle for 20min it will time out. I don't even get 20secs.

43 days since they received my response to RFE. Still nothing!

Has anyone waited this long for RFE to be reviewed. I don't know what is going on but it is driving me crazy. All to get to the next stage of waiting months for NVC.

May 15 NOA1. So ridiculous

They recived our response to RFE on 14th December. My fiance submitted a inquiry yesterday.I don't think it will help much, but that's all we can do at this moment. And then ther is NVC....another long wait.Is beyond ridiculous.

i hope ours too.

We received the letter NOA2 Decmber 15. we received the approval email december 13.  And the approval date stated in NOA2 is December 11. we called USCIS a week after we received the letter, they said we nned to wait for the NVC to send the packet or instruction, we will receive a case number. we called NVC today, they said we just need to wait because it is still within 2 to 6 weeks time frame.

Yes that was the slow part for us too.. we received the NOA2 on October 26 and got our case number December 26.. 8 weeks later. Then it was fast from then we got our case number, and status changed to ready in 2 days.

Wish it was.  Still nothing.  I'm hoping senator or congressman can do something since both said on adjuicator's desk and both said have to allow 30 days and it's now past that time.  Not sure what they can do, hopefully not just ask a status again, hopefully can do something more now.  We've been patient.  If this long should be automatically approved and sent overnight to NVC for case number.  Why some get fast and others taking months more?  They shouldn't be allowed to go to next month till prior is finished unless they already got some sort of notice at least.  If I get another on adjuicator's desk response I'm going to ask them to take a pic so I can see it and know it's there.  I'm hoping us last few get something soon since they're all back at work again (or should be).

I am sorry to know that wasn't your case.

This process has become very painful for us.

I hope we can have answer soon, let me know what your senator or congressman tells you.

Sometimes I think they just lost my case.:(

Day 225 as well. I was told last week by USCIS Rep that I should get an update probably this month. Hmm. I was told that months ago in October 2017 that I should receive an update by December 2017. I usually don't bother calling USCIS because I feel it's pointless at this stage. I did put in a Service Request and my case has been assigned to be review as to why it's taking so long. The system says by Jan 18th I should receive a response to my inquiry. I'm hoping and praying to get my NOA2 before then.

They shouldn't need anything from us RFE, ugh no. Approval and keep it moving to the next stage, heck yes! I'm praying for you guys as well. Because this is a mess. A hot mess.

But Happy New Year to you all!!

Thanks, happy new year to you too and thanks for the prayers, I keep praying for everybody here as well.

My fiance called last week too and he is suppose to get an answer in 30 days, but that what they said months ago too.

But lets try to be positive.

I hope this finish soon and all of us can be happy with the one that we love.

That's why I keep following up with them.  I'm afraid mine is lost too.  If they say allow more time I'm gonna ask for a pic showing my petition on someone's desk just for my peace of mind.  If they say they can't then I'm gonna be writing all government officials I can.  We paid a good amount for this and waited our time.  Thought of even giving my local news a call to have them investigate since they seem to be all over immigration topics right now.

Yes, I would like at least to know that they have my case and are working with it, but they dont say anything, just that we need to wait, I think they are almost finish with June already and we stay here without no news, this is not fair

i received letter from NVC stating they have received my petition and will be forwarded to my consulate. They screwed up my address though;luckily it reached me. I called to update, but he said he can update but has no impact as it's already sent to consulate. not sure any use in calling consulate, as it's usa address. I have already booked interviews. i also emailed the ustraveldocs about interview letter, and they said the letter is sent by consulate on December 29 to the applicant. they sent the text of it in the email anyway, which i can use it if necessary for medical, in case my fiancee doesn't receive by mail.

I think I should clarify, I got my application notarised, not the actual certificate.  Your suggestion above that the you’d expect the police certificate to be certified, makes sense.

If the lovely newly wed @Estibaliz is still active these days, she’ll be the best one for us to describe what they required when it comes to spanish police certificates. @v.b

Sorry, I'm not really much around here anymore. We are moving on Saturday and with that, AOS paperwork, banking paperwork, holidays and the wedding itself back then, things are being pretty hectic nowadays

Anyway, @v.b and @HuckleberryFinn: when I got my police certificate, I did ask for the La Hague Apostille at the same time, since both things could be done at the same office and by the same person. I'd say this is one of those better safe than sorry cases...

My heart goes out to all of you who are also waiting.  It's so hard to describe the feeling of waiting to anyone who asks, over and over and over.

"Yes, we're doing everything we can."

"Yes it is slow."

"Yes, slower than usual."

"Yes it is hard."

"Yes it is a long process."

"Yes I do need to learn patience."

It's been 8 weeks since our NOA2, and I've been calling the NVC but to no avail.  I took a bit more action today,  I emailed nvcreasearch@state.gov with the needed information and a request to process.  We're so far out of even the average processing time that it's all becoming so discouraging.

I don't know if this will be of use to anyone, but this is the email I sent, subject line is the USCIS receipt number:

To whom it may concern,

I am respectfully requesting that your department research our case.  We received the attached approval letter which was dated <date> and were excited to see the immigration process moving forward.

However it's been over 8 weeks and our phone call on <much later date> revealed that our case is not yet shown up in your system.

Please see the attached approval notice for more information.

I'm the petitioner, my name is <your name>, birth date <your birth date>.

The application/beneficiary is <beneficiary name>, birth date <beneficiary birth date>.

We're anxious to move on with the process and concerned with the timeline.

Thank you for your help,

<your name>

Did the same thing and we are just 4 days behind you...below is the letter we received. The NVC Research is no better than filling out that useless online form. You would think the cases are scanned into the computer system and they can track like USPS mail. Needless to say, I am very depressed today, have tears in my eyes, and feel hopeless. I think they lost our case....I know it...they lost it and I will have to try to replicate it and resubmit. :(

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center received your inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice. Unfortunately we do not have a record of receiving your approved petition from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

NVC will work with USCIS to determine the location of your petition. We will let you know when we have more information. You do not need to take any action at this time. Thank you for your patience as we work with USCIS to ensure your case is moving forward.

Case Number:  9755

Sincerely,

Carlos
