"We Americans spend unnecessary money because we have lots of money". Mhmm.. I'm from Sweden, it's a great and rich country, better than the US in many ways. We don't spend money on lawyers unless absolutely necessary, so that argument does not work with me. Try something else.

Btw, weren't you the guy who had issues paying for the rapidvisa service so you had to delay sending in your petition?

I agree. Scandinavia, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg etc. are all countries in which the average person is far richer in many regards compared to the USA, and still they don`t throw money out of the window. People must stop thinking of USA as the richest country on the plant. The average American is compared to many European countries even poor. The elite in USA is very rich but not the average people. Being big and having collectively a large economy does not mean anything for an individual which are often better off is smaller countries. And yes, those people in those rich European countries do not hire lawyers for every small thing.

I really think people do not understand how to do a visa process! some people come and 'google' and figure it out and others dont understand and see things like 'rapid visa' or a 'lawyer' online! most people i know think once you are 'married' you are a USC!!!! and then their are people that think you need a lawyer right away!

before i did ANY paperwork on my own case i googled everything i could about it! i read every single thread and information on it.  in fact, i am pretty sure i NEVER started a thread!!!! but that is how i do things.  i research!! everyone does things a different way.  i would just say to research your case especially from your country.  it is very very beneficial to understand what your country has to go through during the process. once you go over everything then if you need a specific question ask away.  however you want to proceed with your paperwork is up to you.

For starters if u are here from sweden why did you come to america If sweden is so great and rich?

Secondly i could have payed full force for rapidvisa if i wanted to at the beginning i also have a job where i work 24/7 that does not allow a lot of down time so it took a couple months to get documents together, i do not have the luxury of being home all the time. If people in my related job stops this country would starve with in 30 days or less.

If there are countries better then america why do people always immigrate here to U.S.A. ?

We actually immigrated to Denmark first.

In any case, one of your previous threads says you have no savings and live paycheck to paycheck. That isn't the case for us, probably because we realize the importance of cash savings and DIYing.

Wow, you seem to have not traveled a lot in your life. Most people here immigrate to the USA to be with their loved ones, not for financial reasons. If it is for money, it is actually called fraud and illegal. I can tell you that the average person in Canada, Australia, Scandinavia, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and several other countries lives far better than the average American. America caters well to the elite, very high educated, businesses etc, but the average worker can be honestly considered poor compared to an average worker in the countries listed before.  The average cost of an employer in USA to pay minimum wage is about $8/h, the average cost in countries listed before is $40-50/h. The reason is they have to pay their insurances, paid leaves, vacations etc.

I have not seen here on VJ a rejection for "fraud" reason from one of the ESTA countries. Why? There is no economic reason to do immigration fraud. We are not better off in the USA. We are only joining our loved ones, that`s the reason.

Obviously to with my husband, that should say itself. He doesn't speak Swedish and have a family situation here in the US that makes it much harder for him to move. So I had to sacrifice my good life in Sweden, because I love him and want to be with him. I'm sorry to hear that your wife is moving for money (that you don't have?), but to each his own, I guess.
