From my personal experience, when I first filed my I-751 on 3/13/2015 I also received the same mail on 8/20/2015 saying "case has moved to another office for jurisdiction". And after a long wait, I received a latter saying that I have to show up for I-751 interview with my spouse on 1/25/2017. Most likely whoever received the same "jurisdiction" letter will have to go for an interview. That doesn't mean that something is wrong with your application it's just that you've been picked randomly for an interview.

A lot of cases got transferred for jurisdiction and it's impossible all of them will get interviewed!

Why people think, transfer means interview.?  I do not think so.  A few of TSC cases from CSC transferred and got approval without interview.

I don't think so either. I've seen several TSC cases getting approval. Most approvals happen w/out an interview as well. in some cases, they combine the N-400 and ROC, but I've seen other cases where they approved their N-400 without ever touching their ROC OR getting their ROC approved w/out an interview but still waiting on N-400. I think it is all super random and you literally don't know what's going to happen and when...

Come on now! 2015 was a long time ago. Everything is so much different now. In 2015, most people got their ROC approved within a few months unless they had a complicated case or were randomly selected to mess with.... Now everyone is waiting for well over a year for ROC, it is literally the slowest and least important thing for USCIS. With so many already having applied for their N-400, it would be totally pointless to interview them... Stories for even a few years ago seems so irrelevant to me, anyone I know who applied even in 2016, and especially before, had a way different experience than we do.

Good news! I filed my i -751on 11/14/17 to CSC WAC 1804XXXXXXXXXXX. I also filed for N-400 on the 11/14/18. My case was approved on 1/11/19 and new 10-year card received on 1/17/19. Though, I thought my filling N-400 would delay or call for COMBO interview from what I have read so far. But that's not the case. If your wish is to file N400, do it as soon as your window opens, you will be on the queue while waiting for a decision from USCIS. Good luck everyone still waiting. The wait is almost over.

Congrats!!!!!  Our WAC# is very close to yours and my husband also filed for USC.  I know the approvals are very random, but it’s encouraging to see someone in the same situation get approved for ROC before the N-400!  Thank you!

Hey, thanks for posting this. It's good to know that not all I-751/N400 cases are going down the combi route. What I'm gleaning is that there's no rhyme or reason as to why some standard x2 cases are approved separately, and others get the combi.

I have a feeling I'll be a combi though. But what I'm hoping for is GC approval without interview and then the USC test/interview/oath ceremony.

But congratulations! You've got my ideal scenario. :)

For the N-400 applications, did you guys submit similar proof to the i751? I am thinking to submit all legal documents (tax, lease, bank etc) but skipping out pictures/cards or personal artifacts.
