Hi, it is the first time  posting here, I got a RFE and  I answered it. they got it on February 21, 2019 in Texas center. it has been 69 days waiting and no answer yet. I called back the last week and they only told me that I have to wait 30 more days for other answer and they place a case inquiry because my case out of  the regular processing time, additional to this they told me that my case is not in Texas anymore that it is in Vermont again. Vermont is to far away from my home  to have an interview. My case status keeps saying that they got my RFE in Texas and they will review it. Is there somebody in the same situation?

Well, if they do decide to interview you, they will conduct interview close to your town.

Finally, after the long wait. Praise God!

Hold on tight, to my fellow Oct 2017 Filers especially to those who received an RFE letter like me. Good luck and God bless.

Awww thank you so much. I got the RFE letter on December 26th (yeah day after Christmas and it was really frustrating and depressing at the same time) and it's Vermont Service Center. They've asked a lot of documentations and there were some that I do not have, so I just had to explain why I don't have any to present and I have written it on my cover letter. Had to mail it on March and even encountered a big problem with USPS and wasted almost a week because of that. So I had to ask my husband to pick it up and have it mailed elsewhere and he paid $100+ for it but USCIS got the mail a day after. Likewise, it was a good thing that I didn't file for Citizenship yet because I know that it might cause a delay if I did.

I have sent to Vermont too, didn’t get any rfe. It’s been almost 18 months. You think they are going to set an interview? No i400

No , not necessarily. Interview usually comes after rfe. If you didn’t get rfe yet, it’s good sign. Wait another month and submit “case out of processing time” if still nothing.

It is interesting how some cases are waiting significantly longer than others.  I wonder if it has to do with our nationalities.  It is quite obvious under the current Administration that some countries are subjected to “extreme vetting,” just because.

I feel like it is more like “Extreme Waiting”

Idk if that's true especially since we all suffered from this.

No status update on my I-751 but I made a case inquiry about 2 weeks ago regarding my case and was told that my N400 and I-751 will be adjudicated the same time.
