Congratz. I also got notification today that my EAD is being produced but no notification about AP. Do you know USCIS send one notification for both(EAD/AP) or  i should wait for separate notification? Is there any chances of refusal notification? I am just upset why USCIS send me only notice for EAD.

I didn't get one for the AP, so I'm not sure but I don't think your AP will be denied. No need to be upset, at least you got the EAD approved (and probably the AP too).

Something Happened To Me. Few Days After I Received 2 Letters Of Approval for Both EAD and AP. Even Got My EAD/AP Combo Card; AP Online Status Still Says Case Received. Lol

10/4/17 is my receipt date for I-765.

I called USCIS today and requested Tier 2 Officer. 23 minutes later I got a call back.

They said I am within normal processing times and they are processing as of 6/30/17 reflecting USCIS site. I requested SR but they said they have too many I cannot do it. Any advice?

Is phone SR more effective than online SR?

I just got a call in response to my sr and they told me 90 day rule was lifted my case is still being worked on they are only working June cases now so I have a few more months to wait!

USCIS is my nightmare after being in administrative processing for months after my interview then 8 week wait for marriage certificate now this I’m thoroughly disheartened. It’s not about the job or the travel but the process. We always seem to be in limbo

You are not alone.

It seems the phone agents keep telling people they are reviewing cases from June while VJ data shows cases from November are getting adjudicated. Are the agents just completely uninformed or are these recent approvals exceptions? We filed on 10/24 and were hoping to be approved by now 😕

There is no way to know what USCIS will do. They do what they want and don’t tell you they are doing it.

It seems the phone agents go by https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do;jsessionid=abcllKCP4YOJO5b2g75ew

Some November filers did get approvals. But some July filers were just approved yesterday-ish. If we trust people's reports here, and if we trust that USCIS process cases according to filing date, then it must be that some cases take longer than others. I just don't know why.

Some people say it is because of background checks. however, K1 filers should have gone over all scrutiny (security checks and background checks, doctor report, I-864) when they got the visa. (K-1 visa is processed using immigrants' standard as we were told. )  The only new info after we landed in the US is that we got married. (Some K-1 file AOS much later, even years later. In that case, some background checks might make more sense.)

Nonetheless, waiting is all we can do unfortunately.

don't worry if you applied for the ead and ap at the same time then you will most likely get a combo card. my ead case updated to new card is being produced but my ap case stayed at case is received either but both got approved at the same time and i got a combo card.

Yeah, it's a little more than annoying.

I keep watch on VJ timelines here and most are for November filers at the moment. They probably go by the generic USCIS times...which are as of Oct 31st: June 30th. (4 mo diff, so now should be at Sept 30th-ish).  I shudder to think that some of us could have to wait another month or two before getting it, all the while watching December members get approved lol. There doesn't seem to be any particular order they process these in. /sigh

I also agree that prior to K1 approval (for those of us applicable) we've already gone through 6 months of background and medical checks, so it definitely seems odd for that to be whats holding USCIS up.

Just gotta try and keep calm and patient lol.

AOS from K1 Timeline:
