Our Status is now "Ready" at the consulate.  Now we just have to wait for the packet so that we can schedule our medical and interview.  We've done the DS-160 already, and pretty sure we have all of our other ducks lined up.  The only downer in all of this is that Trump is going over there for the APEC meeting, so the consulate will be limited between 10/23/ and 11/15.  Anything I might have missed?

Congrats !!! now everything will goes fast )))

Medical scheduled for tmrw in London.

Interview scheduled for 10/18.

My girl is freaking out but I keep telling her this is the easy part.

Anyone have any tips on how to schedule travel?  I know nothing is for certain until she has visa in hand.  I also know about the 1-2 week to get the visa after the interview.

What would be the earliest date it would be "safe" to book a ticket?

Oh wow, NVC people are so much more pleasant to speak with then USCIS folks ... case still hasn't been received yet. Well back to the ol'  routine. lol Congrats to all the new approvals and Good Luck to those who have interviews soon! We are right behind you!

Wishing you a speedy NVC!  I called everyday until I got the number.

NOA2 was approved 7th September, 21st I got our case number from NVC and the 27th are case was changed to in transit and ready in the same day. Haven’t received the letter yet but apparently some people never do.

Sorry again to sound so ignorant but where can I view the “in transit” status?

Congratulations!  (And good luck on the medical). You are a few weeks ahead of us.  We’re applying via London As well.

I don’t have any answers for you but only questions.  How long did it take for you to get the NVC packet from the time you found out your NVC number?  ALSO did you wait for the packet to come before scheduling the interview or did you just use the NVC #? Thanks!

Hey, has anyone else had any issues with the DS160? It keeps telling me session timeout (I'm not leaving it unattended at all). I found that if you click on the side tabs it works but when I just click next it says session timeout... but the trouble I'm having now is I cant click on the side tab after 'Do you have children' to the next for 'work and education'. I've triple checked and not missed any boxes. As anyone else had the same issues?

Hi everyone,

Please can someone explain to me the famous Affidavit of support

Do we need to fill out this form and send it digitally somewhere and expect some sort of document? if this is the case how long does this take? or just print it, fill it and take it to our interview?

I believe you just fill it out and take it to your interview. :)
