congratulations !! may I ask if they allowed any family to enter? also how long did it last?

No family, the ceremony itself lasted 5-6 minutes and I had to wait 30 minutes in the oath room before it started. It was very quick.

I'll write a full report when I have a chance to get some rest - emotions are draining!

Keep on hoping guys!!!! Was feeling super hopeless but just got interview scheduled notice (not sure when yet - haven't gotten the notice just see an update to my portal that says interview was scheduled and notice was mailed out).

Form Type: N-400 based on 5 years as permanent resident

Office: Brooklyn, NY

Applied: Sep 23, 2019

Also worth noting that a week or two ago I submitted a case status inquiry because I felt it was taking a while (I know it could be much longer but still... and they said I would hear back by 10/8 and on 10/8 interview was scheduled)!

Thank you!! I used this link: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do

And clicked "case outside of normal processing time" which felt justified because my portal had said "we are taking longer than expected to process your case" for like 6 weeks and then my case completion time disappeared.

How long did they take to respond to your request on that site?

Basically what happened was I went on to that link to submit an inquiry, got an email that said 1) here is your inquiry receipt number and 2) you can expect a response by 10/8, then today (10/8!) i checked my portal and it said my interview had been scheduled.

I've been checking every day since I submitted the inquiry and no updates but finally today!

Ah I see. So you didn't receive any email response from them apart from the initial receipt.

Thanks for sharing the info. It may have been a coincidence, but great that you have some good progress there.

That's awesome. Congrats. That give us a hope!

If you don't mind, when is your interview?
