WOW July 2020? Really... I hope this is not real and it is faster than that.

Ouch 😕 So, does it mean you’ll have to wait that long to get your permanent green card as well? From what I understand, they approve both applications at the same time. My window for citizenship opens at the end of this month, but I am hesitating to send it because I am afraid I’ll have to wait longer for my 10-year green card (and I am not in a hurry to get naturalized, just want to get done with the paperwork). I know someone who sent her I-751 two years ago and N-400 when her window opened, and she is still waiting for both (She lives in Florida. Not sure if it matters).

May I ask what center did you fill in?

I am filing from Minnesota so not sure which center it goes to for N-400. My i-751 is in california center. I don;t think my 10 year GC will be delayed if N-400 isn't processed yet. If any so I would think they would combine my N-400 and 10 year GC together and get it done faster. Well I hope that's the case.

Hey everyone,

I send my I-751 application with USPS on September 11th and I lost my tracking number receipt 😞

I have not yet received any letter from CSC and I am getting a bit nervous about it. How long does it normally take?

Thanks.

You should probably call USCIS and have them give you both your receipt numbers. That way you have another way of checking the status of your application other than what comes through the mail.

Wait, you sent your application Sep last year and haven’t received anything yet ?

Call asap. That’s very worrisome.

No this September 11th, but I think people that were filing in September 2018 were also talking in this thread. Sorry for the confusion.

WOW July 2020? Really... I hope this is not real and it is faster than that.

Is it bad that I find comfort in seeing that someone else has an estimated date in 2020 for the N-400? I was upset, but now I’m actually relieved!

It could be a Rfe or interview letter. Call uscis to find out what the letter was.Because if it was approval I believe it would state something along the line of “your card is being produced”.
