  1. Change of Address Information Most non-U.S. citizens must report a change of address within 10 days of moving within the United States or its territories. Exceptions include: Diplomats (visa status A); Official government representatives to an international organization (visa status G); and Certain nonimmigrants who do not possess a visa and who are in the U.S. for less than 30 days.
  2. Had my oath ceremony today officially a US citizen. Thanks visajourney family for the help. From the very first application till today, you guys made it easy through the entire process. God bless you all!
  3. You need to stop being so pessimistic. It doesn’t work like that, except there is an overwhelming proof that the marriage was fraudulent.uscis probably won’t even bother with your case. You worrying about dooms day doesn’t help his case because it seems you paranoid about something that doesn’t exist. I think everyone has given you the best advice, if you want to pull the case of your own sanity you guys can but like they said if you are in a legit relationship. You should have no reason to be freaking out
  4. I Honestly I think you might be reading way too much into it all. You have given them the informations you have so I won’t worry about it.
  5. Personal advise, wait till you complete you n400 before any other overseas trip
  6. I will say you wait till you have the actual notice in hand because that might have the correct information and if not it’s often deschedule online and sometimes rescheduled immediately or a few days later. But I woul say wait for the notice in the mail.
  7. To be honest your whole case sounds strange and you probably need to see a psychiatrist or something close to that. It doesn’t sound normal and how fast you recover also proves the lack or legitimacy to your previous relationship. The immigration system is to help reunited families together but what you are doing here isn’t anything like that. It’s clearly an abuse of the system. Why don’t you move to the Philippine and live there ? That sounds like a better idea than sponsoring all this women here.
  8. I would say a written document from her Mother should be enough. I believe they are concerned about kids who are here and who might become public charge because of lack of support.
  9. It doesn’t matter if you file 3 7-8 years as long as you got you GC through marriage they will always ask questions. Like I said if you have nothing to hide then there should be no reason to be worried but then again It is your choice
  10. There isn’t any reason for you to pull it if all they requested of you is to was more documentation. If you pull that now, it would not change when next you apply because they would then ask more questions with regards why you canceled you previous application and even more scrutiny. It won’t affect his residency even if he is denied.
  11. Do you believe that they might have been something he had failed to mention in that application ? Ticket, make claim to citizenship, Vote Arrest ? If you feel there isn’t anything. Then you can have him wait it out. Already close to the end
  12. Could it be a glitch ? Did he get the form that says recommend for approval ? Also every officer has there work go through quality review, if during that point they feel that something was overlooked that might have been the reason for the request. Also you can schedule a info pass and ask to speak to the officer who interviewed him and ask ?
  13. I just got done with my interview today. I had a pending i751 with a three year marriage naturalization. The interviewer began with asking for my wife and asked that she come in. We took the oat and he went ahead and verified everything in the folder asking us questions like where we live, when we married and current taxes. He then said that he has approved the I 751 and will then proceed to conduct the n400 . He asked me questions 1 name two national holidays 2 who is in charge of the executive branch 3 who becomes the president when the the president can no longer govern 4 name things things that only the federal government can do he asked a couple of others that I can’t remember. He went on to verify all my document. I did not put a speeding ticket from before and mentioned it to him. He added it and said thanks for being honest about it. He then said I was approved. He won’t be able to schedule me today for naturalization since the Omaha office does same day because he had to go in and approve the i751. But he send the oat ceremony date in the mail. It’s been a long journey and it’s great to be coming to and end. That you all who post has helped me with information I need and I hope this helps someone else
  14. I do not know about nj office but some of the local USCIS offer same day swearing if your case is approved and their is an open spot. Usually you are sent a letter in the mail with regards to the date for your oath. You file for it when you get your naturalization certificate at the post office
