I think a lot of members also got that updates on their applications. Finally saw some progress lol. We live in Houston, so it might be even longer until we get approved. The field office here was flooded during Harvey, and they closed the office for 3 months!!! I have a friend submitted her green card app in June 2016 and didnt even have her interview yet!!!

I just got off the phone and the customer service rep. Confirmed that my case was transferred to the local office (Lawrence, Ma) on March 4 2018. She couldn't transfer me to a tier 2 , because of high caller volumes, she asked me to call again at 8am tomorrow to get further details I filed my ROC on September 2, 2017.

I also got off the phone and she also confirmed my case was transferred to the local office and she said that this is part of the process and not to expedite anything, it has been always that way ........

@fatty1011 What do you mean by it is part of the process ? typically they don't transfer I-751 cases to the local field office unless and until they want to interview you. Also you were able to confirm that your case is in Chicago ?Was this a Tier 1 or Tier 2 person you spoke to ?

Even I am confused , but she said it very confidently that all of it is the part of the process...she was Tier 1 and she confirmed my case is at Chicago......  I dont know whats going on ... :/

I just spoke to a tier 2 officer, who stated that; the transfer to local office update on my case, was a wrongful update. He believes its a system glitch, since in his system he observed that my case is still in Vermont. He also stated that my case could take a year and whenever my file is moved to a local office I will get related correspondence in the mail.
