Just an update. My wife's ROC was approved 1-17-2019 and her 10-yr GC should arrive in the mail tomorrow, according to USCIS website. We received the approval letter in the mail a couple days ago.

Hi September filers,

We just filed I-751 Sept. 22nd and received NOA 1 year extension on Sept. 29th.  Now we wait for biometrics and then it looks like a nice 14 month wait in total.

Newbie here. Curious has anyone never recieved their NOA/biometrics notice. Sent package on the 7th September still haven’t received anything. I called USCIS I received receipt number and tracking number for my case. Was also told I was scheduled for biometrics on Oct 13th at 2pm. Office said if the biometric letter still hasn’t arrived I will have to call back 5 days before scheduled appointment to be faxed the notice.

I received my NOA1 letter today with the receipt  date of 09/26. The bank check cashed out today as well. Hope to get a biometric appointment set up soon.

Also, I'm assuming the sponsoring spouse does not need to attend the biometrics, correct? The app mentions the spouse agreeing to fingerprints but I'm not sure if it's actually required.
