Congratulations!

That's for Fargo. I don't know if you have seen my other comment before, but I was told that they would be having 2 ceremonies in the last week of June.  I don't know if yours would count as one of the two ceremonies that I was told about (because it is in Fargo). It looks like you heard back from them within 2-3 weeks after your interview while some other people here had their interviews more than 6 weeks ago without hearing back. I think we should be seeing some more notifications in the coming up couple of weeks. It is about time...

Thanks!

I'm curious too if it's faster because I don't currently have a valid greencard? I have a stamp in my passport that he said was done incorrectly 🙃

Disappointing to have been doing immigration this long & not able to bring my family to the very last part. Damn covid.

Covid maybe an excuse more than a real cause, I think.  Other states have covid (some have it worse than MN) and still manage to do Oath on the same day some times. I believe that the real cause is being under-staffed. There is probably too much work for less and less office workers.

He could have re-stamped it for you and still give you the relatively earlier ceremony in Fargo.

Too much speculations... but I think we (or some of us at least) would be hearing something in the coming up couple of weeks.

My Oath ceremony has been scheduled on June 29th, 2021 at the Riverside center in St Paul. I have interviewed April 2nd, about 6 and a half weeks ago. I think everyone who interviewed around that time is in the same boat when it comes to the ceremony scheduling timeline (unless there are some personal file issues in their file). Go and check your online account if you have been waiting. I know we had a few people waiting in this group.

Out of curiosity, I've noticed the naturalization certificates have pictures on them, I am assuming they will use the picture taken from the biometric appointment? I've lost my hair since and I've been shaving my head for the last 2 years 😅😅

Interviewed Friday, went extremely well. I answered all questions truthfully and was immediately given that my/our case would be recommended for approval. Within a hour of leaving our appointment all cases (i751 and n400) were updated in the new system to show approved (i751 said new card is being ordered & n400 says Waiting for Oath Ceremony to be scheduled).

Can’t wait to be scheduled for a oath ceremony and our immigration journey to finally come to a peaceful and happy end.

Words of advice for future N400 filers, send as much as you can initially (State and Federal documents showing joint) be organised and use acco fasteners and when attending any interview or oath ceremony dress properly (formal or semi-formal).

When you go for a N400 it does help to show updated joint documents and prove good moral character by offering to provide the Immigration Officer an updated Federal/State tax return that serves as a dual purpose.
