Hi Forke

Yes last time I did this I used an lawyer as well. I look at it like this. The lawyer has done this more times times than I have and I want to make sure its done correctly. By using a lawyer everything this is done right and your chances of getting a RFE are very low.

I looked on the NOA1 envelope and the stamped zip code is Phoenix Az , so I'm assuming the petition went to the lockbox in AZ and not TX?

Yea, I get it. I was just curious. :) Good luck in any case!

As for the mailing address, I just checked (link below) and it looks like you're right. I'm sorry I gave you the wrong info! Ours was mailed from MD, so this does make sense. :)

Hi all,

We submitted the I-129F to Texas by Fedex on 19th August 2017

Text message reply on 24/08/2017 to confirm official receipt.

NOA 1 Letter dated 23rd August 2017 received 28 August 2017

Still waiting for NOA 2 but we probably need to allow a little longer, especially with the terrible weather in Texas lately.

Not sure if I'm reading right but if you filed in August then you will be looking at the end of this year, beginning of next year for your NOA2 :)

We filed in April and are still waiting for our NOA2. Settle in for a little bit of waiting, It'll all be worth it in the end though. Also I'm not sure if you are aware that the majority of I-129F petitions are sent on to the California Service Centre so hopefully they have been unaffected by the hurricanes.

Good luck everyone with your NOA2 waits and journey to the US :)

Unfortunately I know this is the biggest part of the wait :( I didn't make myself clear the the last post whilst at work and probably little delusional with the waiting time.

Thankfully my fiancee is coming over in October for 10 days so we get a bit of time then, after that I'm going to be with her for 6 weeks in January in the states, probably when everything finally comes through.

Once we get passed the NOA 2 notification, how long is the average wait for everything after that. I know we need to do the police certificate and medical and in honest I was hoping to do the medical in about the middle of December if I could do as it is valid for 6 months, leaving me with only the interview left to book and pass.

I thought it probably was a mistake but wanted to double check! This process is hard enough already without having skewed expectations. :)

As with the rest of this process it's a bit of a guessing game! From what I've seen, the average is probably 2 months from NOA2 to your Visa being issued all being well!

How soon after you submit your reply to an RFE does it usually get approved? I feel like I am going to get an RFE but it should be an easy fix. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you!
