nice, today is my 3rd week, SD 8/8

How do you know what your scan date is?  I sent my package in last week.  They received on per Fed Ex on 8/23 but the website is still saying to send documents.  So I called and they said they received it on 8/25 and are just waiting to review it. Which date is my scan date when they say they received it or the day they review it?

Hi,

I'll link it below-the site says your passport needs to be valid for six months beyond the intended date of entry into the US

  • Unexpired passport valid for six months beyond your intended date of entry into the United States and a photocopy of the biographic page (where your name and photo are located).

This was taken directly from travel.state.gov. So if you don't plan to enter the U.S. by October of this year, then yes you'll need to get an updated one.
