I ran the above past Mrs. T-B., who responded matter-of-factly, "Not funny at all."  She observed in addition that 4.b. is crucial.

LOL

Its funny because no one but illegals will care. Though if one wants them caught best to not keep them on their toes.

i don't know any liberals who define illegals as a race. i was wondering how one can tell by looking at a person that they are here illegally. do you know?

If you are in the south west it's not too hard. They will most likely be hispanic and not speak English. They will also most likely be carrying fake documents like Social Security cards, Resident Alien cards, etc.

so those in the sw should approach hispanics and ask them to speak english/verify their docs? or should they just keep it simple and report non english speaking hispanics to ice and let them sort it out?

ICE can figure it out I'm sure. That's their job, not yours or mine. As far as the ones that overstay their visas they should be easy enough to round up since there is a record of them entering the country. That should get all 4 of those British blokes and Aussies who are illegally here.

In states like California it's remarkably easy to find places where illegals congregate.

I think it's not too difficult to find illegals in many parts of the US. I am in Wisconsin and I could point out places where illegals congregate. Even worked with a few over the years.

Yep, but with certain cities in California.. we'll give one example, Watsonville, you can drive all over some of these cities and find illegals everywhere: A park, hanging out along the streets, congregating in a parking lot looking for cheap labor, selling fruit they swiped from their employer (who illegally employs them) on street corners, stuff local law enforcement ignores on a daily basis, yet would be like a kid in a candy shop for ICE agents. So much potential for cleaning house.

Yeah, no issues there. And everything is pretty segregated. There's old neighborhoods that used to be Polish and now they are all hispanic, whites don't even enter.

I encourage anyone, especially in and around sanctuary cities, to report suspected illegals.

my questions were speaking directly to the quote from the op, which encourages citizens to report 'suspected' illegals. the consensus appears to be the citizens should simply report hispanics, or those who appear to be hispanic, or otherwise non-english speaking persons to ice and let them sort it out. i know its not my job to judge a person's legal presence and i have no desire to do so, let alone encourage it en masse.

It's easy to encourage anything, when you have no skin in the game. Bravado over the internet, is cheaper than sunlight in the desert. LOL.

Absolutely

No account seems to be made for those who rely on illegal labour and the difficulties they would be in if they had to pay proper wages.

federal agents asking Spanish speakers for their papers is genius! Why follow up on visa overstays ?
