Hello everyone! I wanted to ask how long does it take to get a response after they have received the rfe at uscis? Thank you

Helo, USCIS received my response to the RFE on Feb 5th, 2018 and my case was approved on Feb 28th, 2018.

Nebraska Service Center Funny I called USCIS last Wednesday February 28 & Tier 2 officer said my I-130 is still being processed despite being approved that same day! Oh and by the way my case still doesn't show on the online system even after approval. I get receipt not found message.

Anyone from California Service Center? My PD is July 27, 2017. I see CSC is way behind. They are processing 2016. Please let me know.

Hi, I am , just called USCIS and she told me she will make a request for me because she thinks I'm past the normal processing time. I'm a US citizen, 3rd July is my pd, and nothing. Last time when I talked to a tier one, he told me it takes up to 12 months, but whenever I call the first responders always says it takes 6 months for citizens to get approved at CSC. So fingers crossed maybe this time they will do something about it. I think for GC holders it takes 12-14 months to get approved, but I'm not sure.

Hi! Please, what was the center that process your case?

I got a RFE March first, and I am still waiting for the letter. I am really worried about how much more we will have to wait.

Hello, I am super late to the party.  My husband is a US citizen and I live in Bermuda.  Here is our journey so far (I won't be too specific because everyone is past most of the early stages):

We sent in our application on 08 July 2017 (I think)

Got I-797 in text on 13 July 2017

I-130 got approved in Jan (on the 11th I believe)

We received our letter from the NVC on 16 Feb 2018.

The same day, I filled out the DS-261, making myself the Agent.

Using a tip I found on the internet, I waited a few days and then called the NVC (on the 21st) to "verify my DS-261".  I did this to avoid the 3 week wait.  I was told that I would receive notification in one week so that I could pay for the AOS and Immigrant Fee.  Well the notification came on the weekend, we paid and by the following Tuesday (27 Feb), I was able to fill out the DS-260, and my husband mailed our documents to the NVC.

Now we are waiting for our documents to be received and reviewed.

Wow. All I can say is that you're very fortunate and lucky to have been processed through Potomac. You are way ahead of most of us. Congrats!!
