Alright talking about background checks.,. my fiancé and I have a very funny situation. I the beneficiary born in Brazil after 20 years moved to The Netherlands...

My name is one of a kind... Unique... I swear I'm the only one in the entire world with my name... if they gonna do a background check on me it will be... Search... Enter... 5 seconds later... results...

My fiancé on another hand has the most common name and surname in the USA and maybe around the world... his background check it will be... Search... Enter.... 7 months later... still waiting for results.... 🤣🤣🤣

That's why it's taking so long for my NOA2... 😎

Ha Ha what a joke!!

I called USCIS, which the woman on the phone was very nice, BTW.

Anyway,

Her "I see you have submitted a petition for an alien fiancee."

ME " Yes that is correct."

Her " I have to ask some additional questions first."

me "Ok, ask away"

Her "Are you married?"

Me " Huh? Wait, what? I can be married and still bring my fiancee over here, sweet!?"

Her "Oh (lol) I guess that question doesn't make sense"

me cant stop laughing!!! ha ha

And..........then the same canned answer everyone gets.

Her " I see you have already put in a service request please wait 30 days bla, bla bla"

At least I got a good laugh for the day!! :jest:

Please tell me adjudicators are smarter....

Hey guys, I'm with you. Usps tracker says my rfe was delivered to usics feb 14th but I haven't had a status change either. I'm thinking that we may just get approvals in the mail instead :)

Is there anyone that has gone through the rfe process recently that would like to shed some light? Thanks!

For rfe,

at this stage it has nothing to do with the rfe process.

If they didnt receive it in the pst 2 weeks:

1) check the company you used to send, because files do get lost. Somebody waited a lot for her files to reach there

2) if it reached there already it is done and out of your hands and can take up to 60 days. Hopefully won't but it may.
